There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Why you want to give it to your wife for shopping? You don't have fiat currency which can take care of her shopping habits? Try to invest your bitcoins in some productive way so that you can earn more in future.

You should not keep holding your bitcoin because holding them is like wasting them. You should divide them in few parts, keep one as saving and invest rest of them separately. In this way, chances of earning increases and losing decreases. You might get good returns.

You can hold it, Invest it "although I don't recommend that since most investments in bitcoin are scams".

1.5 btc is good capital to start with trading, as you can earn good profits on regular basis if you are aware about the market trends, try to grow your bitcoins till you reach to the halving.

The  best way you can do is being able to allow the bitcoin you just earned to grow. It might be the very needed time for you to venture into bitcoin trading. I know you may be having a mixed reaction as to whether you can buy a physical thing with the coins. I can tell you that the feeling is always there. But be careful on the decisions you make since they can both ruin you and also be able to grow you.

Well, if I have 1.5 BTC at this time, maybe I'll build a business in the real world, may sell clothes or accessories, and that certainly it could make me a profit  Grin

Will 1.5 btc would be enough to start a business? I mean if its possible then its a great idea to invest your bitcoins as you can expect regular income from it and if bitcoin disappears in future then this income will help you in long run.

Yeah but scenario is not same across the globe and it will take long time for other countries to follow the footprints of Brazil, as there are still many countries who have never heard about the bitcoins yet.

I think we can doing many things with this amount, like dealing and buying needed services or goods online, but also we can hold it for the price rising as the halving is happening soon

Hey so i recently got about 1,5 BTC from a service i started and now im wondering what i should do with this. Any tips?

You can save them for the future so you can make more money with it. But is not sure that you will make more money in the future because we will never know what the price is going to be in the future.

Price will be better in future for sure so no need to worry about it, hold it for limited period and sell when you feel that the price is giving you higher profits.

I will invest some of it in trading and rest will hold for the halving event as if everything goes fine with me in trading then I can hold some more number of coins till the halving occurs.
