When internet goes down or totally shutdown then there's nothing we can do with it because it the only way we can access in cryptocurrency world..hoping it will not happen, because I believe there's way so that it will not happen.

If the internet goes down, Bitcoin is rendered useless, you pretty much can't do anything. The Internet is so widely used today, worldwide, that a total collapse would set us back for decades!
I agree, but we also have an offline storage for bitcoin, so to those who uses offline storage's can still be able to use their bitcoin but their bitcoin in their online wallet will left there and become useless since there is no internet connection that can transact bitcoin everywhere. |

face to face trades? Of course there must be a way to broadcast the transaction anyways. And as said on previous topics, if there is no internet service, we probably have bigger things to worry about.
While Bitcoin is one of the most resilient pieces of software around, it requires the availability of the internet in order to operate. In the unlikely case of a complete Internet shutdown Bitcoin will go down with it, however not all will be lost. |

It is obvious that bitcoin will not be usable because aside from the miners that are mining the blocks to keep the network of bitcoin running is the internet where all the energy of bitcoin came so if there is no internet then the bitcoin will be useless and this is the worst day to expect that there will be day that the internet will go down because it will bring a lot of losses.

That will be a big mist to bitcoin users and bitcoin around the world. It will gonna be a big problem, we all know bitcoin is a digital currency that relay on the internet connection. This might be a big disaster to bitcoin world and to all have connection to internet world.

If internet goes down , it will be a big clash for investors and workers. Because We can live without internet but when we use bitcoin then there will be a big issue if there is no internet connection and It wil be very pathetic for us.

Well we will not longer be able to trade in Bitcoin although if the internet completely went down then we are in for a storm of problems.
If internet goes down there is lot of problem facing by bitcoin because internet is the bridge to transact in bitcoin if it goes down how we can trade. No internet no bitcoin and no income to earn. I thank to God that we have internet to use for bitcoin. |

given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?
home internet and mobile internet goes down
do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away
One of the limitations of Bitcoin is internet connection. If you do not have internet connections, basically you cannot access it. On your question, if you don not have home internet ot mobile internet, you can use internet cafe to access your bitcoin. Internet now is a necessity to all people. It would be impossible to shut down the internet in the whole world. If war would come, which is difficult to predict, then all people would not access their bitcoin because it has no use anymore. |

The Internet shouldn't shut off for no reason, if they do then there's going to be a lot of businesses shutting down too. |

I think the internet is here to stay for the foreseeable future. If there was no internet, there would be no bitcoin or emails or twitter, etc. Of course it would have to be a catastrophic world event for the internet to disappear and I think we would have more to worry about than bitcoin

I think if the internet has decreased then there will be a new breakthrough from bitcoin developers to make bitcoin has a physical form to be traded offline although maybe the breakthrough will reduce the peculiarity of bitcoin as a digital asset.

If internet goes down any bitcoin transactions will be cancelled. Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency is powered by internet, the only way to operate bitcoin transactions is through the internet. Crypyo world will shut down if there's no internet connection. Well, of course that will never happen because we now live in a digital world where internet connection is everywhere.

BTC would just go down and there is nothing that we are able to do at that point, that is just fact. Internet is to important in today's world so we cannot live without it. Everybody understand that.

You are right. Internet is now a need in our world and bitcoin is somehow depends on the internet. Without internet there would be no cryptocurrencies. Without it, surely there is no invention about virtual money and cryptocurrency. So, that would be the importance of bitcoin for us, users. Internet will always be used in platforms like this. |

It will be the end of bitcoin or a big fall for it...but i think that ther is no need to worry about this...the internet goes down and even if the internet goes down all the world wil be confused not just bitcoin

If such a thing happens then we can only transact using fiat money, gold dll.tetapi I think the incident is very small to happen because if the internet goes down then all activities that use the internet will be messed up and experiencing collapse globally, considering the internet is used all over the world

In my opinion if the internet goes down BTC goes down. As far as i know bitcoin fully relies on internet so there's that. If you are talking about just down for a few weeks then probably bitcoin would get worthless again after that but might rise.

If that will happen, it's a sad story. It's the end of bitcoin
Bitcoin will breakdown. All transactions, trading and even mining any crypto is done by the help of the internet. No internet, no bitcoin. No bitcoin, no profit chance. That's it, the end.
