I myself use 3 different wallets. One is on my Android device, one on my desktop PC and one online.

The one i like the most is on my desktop, MultiBit. I like it because you can quicky generate new deposit adresses and keep track of your incomes and outcomes. I only use Blockchain for some payments, and on my mobile phone i have MyCelium wallet, which i use for mobile/QR code scanning payments.

What wallets do you use and which one do you prefer and why?
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I've just been using the bog standard Bitcoin Core Wallet. Does the job, but I've been looking to see if there are better options around.

Would love to hear suggestions. Smiley

I usually use Blockchain.info because it has full of features, such as blockchain explorer, Shared Coin, and any other features that typical Bitcoin wallet have.
And I also use MultiBit but not often, I use it because it's a light wallet which mean I don't have to download the full Blockchain just like Bitcoin Core. But the new update (MultiBit HD) is kinda hard to use for me, the UI is worse than the old one.
On my phone I use Mycelium, because it'll generate another address every time I received a transaction. And it's very easy to use, and also the size of the app is not that big.

I currently hold most of my bicoins on blockchain.info, however my trezor should arrive in a couple of days, so I'll be using their wallet after that. I use mycelium on my phone as well.

I only have online wallets since I don't know how to use other bitcoin wallet and I have not much bitcoin to store anyway. I 'll just learn how to use other btc wallets when I am ready to buy some serious amount of btc.

I use blockchain as my online wallet and an offline wallet as well. I don't own that many bitcoins so there's no use for me to have 10+ wallets.

You can try Electrum or multibit for PC Because Multibit and electrum are having good features in their wallet system Like In electrum you can use large number of transaction and it will work in very low level signal also and In multibit Its good as offline wallet but little slow in transactions. As you said Blockchain.info good as Online wallet for any kind of transaction.

I use blockchain, coinbase and an offline wallet on my pc. The offline wallet for obvious reasons, I started with blockchain and after a couple of months I wanted to try out different wallets to see how it worked and such. They both are nice and user friendly.

I use coinbase as an online wallet because I do not mind not being anonymous, and I can buy / sell bitcoins for cash easily there.

Also I use multibit in my pc in order to diversify some of my earnings just in case the online wallet gets hacked or something. I like multibit because the integrated functionality to do backups.

For online wallets I'm using blockchain and coinbase. Both are really good, I never had an issue with either of them.
Next to those, I got an offline wallet because I'm more comfortable having those bitcoins that I don't use offline rather than on the internet if I won't be using them anyway.

But the warnings are clear, make sure to have your coins safely secured offline.

Currently I am using mobile wallet and web based wallets because my PC was broken. I use mycelium wallet on mobile (android) since its one of the most recommended mobile wallet especially on android and because of its nice features like signing message. As for web based ones , I use blockchain.info wallet and coinbase bitcoin wallet. So far I'm satisfied and feel confident with the said wallets, I am exploring others though

you don't need to support the network to use it, when you see only 8 connection are not actually running a full node

so you're not supporting anything, i'm also using core, and downloading the whole chain is not an issue in 2016
