I use a wallet which originated from my country. It is an online wallet but because their main office is just nearby, I chose to use it over other wallets because it is by far the safest for me.

Same here. Even if we can say that blockchain and coinbase are one of the biggest online wallets available in the market. We still love to choose using local wallets because it is way more convenient for us.

I need local wallets so I can easily convert my bitcoin to fiat whenever I need money. Aside for that, I think we also need more secure wallet. We must not put all our bitcoin in one wallet, if one wallet is hacked or lost, not all our funds is lost.

Multibit HD for desktop.. Because this is the first wallet I ever downloaded (after Bitcoin core) and used. Didn't use bitcoin core because my internet bandwidth wasn't good enough to sync with the entire blockchain.

I used mycelium for android once and It was really good. However, I use blockchain right now and I think it's time to switch back to mycelium again Smiley

Can you share the name of the wallet ? If its secure and used worldwide, maybe we can also try  using it ?

I used jaxx.io because it is support for bitcoin, dash, eth, etc and the DAO, it is more complete than another wallets for me, easy to using it and it is safe too. There are not problem when using it.
Will check it out once I get a little time.
I am right now using xapo since the wallet is not just safe and very secure because of its 2-factor authentication but also saves the transaction fees for us. Yes though you are not able to send instant payments with it, since they tale 5-10 mins to send once they accumulate a lot of transactions.

I am using blockchain.info now for more than 2 years. It was my first wallet and I stuck with this and I am fully happy. It is secure and easy to use to perform online transactions. Why I use this I am heavily active in sports betting and this helps me a lot to perform this with more convenience.

well you guys are very lucky that you have local wallets and their main offices are nearby you. but bitcoin is a online source. we really don't need to choose a local wallets.
I prefer to use a trusted wallet instead of a local one. because converting bitcoin is not a big deal.

any wallet is useful as long as valid

I agree with you no matter what the wallet/s that you are going to use as long as you are enjoying using it and you find it very helpful then that is going to be a good thing already. I've done that before that I used already a lot of wallets but I still fall down to one bitcoin wallet, which is blockchain and I really love it but I like more the old blockchain.

Still using Electrum since it was recommended to me when I first started.
Good interface and the app for my phone is decent, even if it runs a little slow on my old phone.

If I ever get a decent amount of bitcoin, I will definitely invest in some kind of cold storage wallet.
Not sure if I would use a Trezor or some other kind of electronic hardware wallet, or just print on paper for cold storage.
I actually like the Cryptosteel wallet they advertise on the Trezor site. I think you could use this to store just the passphrase to a Electrum account, but not quite as secure as moving everything to cold storage 100%.

I am using blockchain.info in the long run because I am very satisfied with their service. At first, I used xapo but it is making me very hassle because I am not liking their service anymore. I am not liking their 2FA and 60 seconds of waiting to skip some of their confirmations. Even though blockchain does have another 2FA using emails but that is not hassle for me.
I think 2 factor authentication should be only when user wants it like in most wallet providers and because of the fact that XAPO asks us to enable it even when we don't want makes me hate xapo too.
Guys try the new rushwallet its superb !
Never heard of the wallet you are talking about but gonna check it out, I now still use the blockchain to be honest because its safe and got some nice security things.
I also think that offline wallets are better but online wallets are just so easy these days.

Online wallet are good but you need to install 2FA, that is the best security now so your account cannot be hack, but always remember all key because if you forget you might not be able to access your account and you will lose your money due to negligence.

2FA will only make your account safe from third party hackers but it won't make you safe from the hands of the site operators, they can easily close your account and steal your coins anytime they want so i don't really trust online wallets

2FA is a good security for online wallets so that you can avoid being hacked and stolen of your bitcoin. You will appreciate its value if you got hacked and the 2FA protects your wallet. It is just a little inconvenience but I can live with that. I think the sms 2FA is better than just email because your email can be hacked too.

I'm using the blockchain.info online wallet, for hot storage. For cold storage, I'm using the electrum wallet. I had no problems with them so far.

I used "coins.ph wallet" because it is accurate to my country and from that wallet i can easily top up mobile load as one of my basic daily needs.
Aside from that, coins.ph wallet is a wallet which you can directly request for withdrawal of you bitcoin into cash money. Thats why i preferred to used coins.ph wallet.
