Does anyone can explain how this is worth 15$ now?

It will be unhealthy to jump directly to $100, that's why we stopped at $15 for accumulation. Please be patient.

Now DCR is too expensive!

When Bitcoin was $10 - I remember people saying "now it is too expensive!"
When Bitcoin was $100 I remember people saying  "now it is REALLY too expensive!"
It all boils down to the question: do you think it can rise further? (Consider Dash's price? What if Decred takes its place on coinmarket cap? And I think it will... then DCR would be $150)

Because of the technology and its potential.
People recognized the worth of HF voting
Perhaps especially in wake of the BTC/BTU drama.

amen brother!

I absolutely agree. DCR is worth much more than it's current value.
Everyone who does not jump on the decred train will regret it on next price raise.

I've heard good things about this project and see the coin doing pretty well on Exchanges.

Still a bit confused on what is the use case for DCR and why would someone prefer it over Dash which also has community involvement in decision making?

Only masternode owners can vote to decide the future of dash.

This is centralizing, since everyone knows that the masternodes are in the hands of few people and most belong to the dev, bought with the 2 million coins from the instamine. It can be said that all decisions are still taken by the dev

In addition, once decided, the devteam must implement the decision, which can take a long time or it may be discovered later that such a feature is impossible to implement.

Decred is decentralised and implements the voting result automatically, without human intervention. Alien tech  Grin

Decred's anon system will be much better

And lightning network implementation
