I think, like most of the people, that it could be related to Cryptsy and this clown, Mike Hearns. Personnaly, I think that this is more related to Cryptsy than to Mike Hearns.

There is no way the price is dropping to $100. The lowest we might go is $350 or somewhere close to that range.

As in most truths, it's a combination of all those things mentioned above, including Cryptsy and Mike Hearn. OP's absolutely right. Bitcoin has proven, after six long years, to be a failed experiment. Instead of fair adoption across the world, China became the 5000 Ton gorilla. Instead of medium of exchange for everyone, bitcoin became a store of wealth, especially concentrated in few hands. I'm laughing at those who are still dreaming of $1 Million bitcoin. SUCKAZ!!! Ahhhh, this isn't a massacre but it's definitely a significant drop.  Not so sure bitcoin is going to drop to $100 anytime soon and that would be quite disheartening.  Could happen, though.

That should be disappointing, I kept my coins even after it dropped to 380. seem a bit late but a friend sold his coins upon seeing the price go $390

I might still hold it for now, maybe hodl it still. it seem like its easy for the big whales to play around our fears.
It think there is another way round where we bitcoin users can also play these big whales by not selling the coins even if it drops to less than a hundred so we could see the joke was on them.

if they are to dump, they must have done it when it was yet this low. there are a lot of speculations from anyone but somehow the $380+ price today is a good price to buy back, it may sooner goes to $400+ again.

Well for me if the price goes down and dump i will stay holding my coins because i lose few money.and i believe the price is not stable and the price will rise again if you follow carefully the chart year ago. is just like the same.. the price is not stable days or month the price will dump or rise.. We dont know when the price will rise or dump so i think its better to hold bitcoin and wait for the price increase to sell it or exchange it in to fiat..

Well indeed it will be stupid to dump them now but I can understand some people they don't want to lose a lot. Its always a risk to invest in bitcoins and that's why people dump there bitcoins, I think the bitcoin has a great future so why should I dump them.
