If many people in this forum think we should dump the bitcoin, it is a good time to buy the bitcoin instead.

I doubt an individual here will use that centralized coin. the very reason why we are here is to be free from them so why use their system. No one has stopped bitcoin, if they can, they should have done it. stop bitcoin long before it started to be known.

it's actually very simple. there is a saying; sell when people are buying, and buy when people are selling. that's the way to go for me since i started with trading. at this point im not buying anymore as i have bought the majority of my coins well below $350 but if the price takes a dive to sub $400 prices, then i will start with buying again.

That's how it is. Most of these troll posts are too stupid to consider. Some do make an effort bringing in stats etc. But overall you can ignore them.
Even with this correction it seems a good time to buy.

I still think it's a good time to buy: these are the last chances before the halving. After that we really don't know what is going on. Rationally I would say we will have a a price rise but too many factors are involved. In any case this is still a good time to buy.

Buying? Probably not. I'm sure that there will be setbacks and retraces before we finally take-off and enter pre-halving mode. Many shorters would love to dump on people buying on right now. Wink

Margin buying is a recipe for disaster, especially in such volatile times.
Those noobs will probably never return to crypto again.

Dumping now will be not the best thing that you can do it would be better for you if you are waiting a longer time and that you can earn some profit later in the future.
But I know that there will be a lot of people that dont have patience for it and that is quite bad already.

I will not dump my bitcoin at all. I will just use a small proportion of my holding and hold the rest for long term.

I will do the same. The price or the value of bitcoin will rise in the future. So I will keep most of my coins.

Yes and if you dump your coins at a moment then that is the worst thing that you can do with your coins, its better to hold for next couple of months to enjoy extra profits.

At this point i would say holding bitcoin is one of the dumbest things one can do.
With Satoshi revealed he either has to hand control of millions of coins to government or he will sell them.
Both cases will destroy bitcoin.

A post of theymos in reddit shows that Craig Wright is not the real satoshi, so I don't think he is going to sell them, everything can happen but before the halving it's absurd to sell, unless you need them for any emergency.

Exactly you can sell only if you are in any sort of emergency or you don't have any other source to get hard cash money, as dumping at this stage is the worst thing to do.

All that was shown is that the signature he posted wasn't a 'satoshi signature', which he never claimed it was in the first place. It's the media and people here that made those claims, not him.
We will see verification later today.

Then there is your ensurance for an epic crash of the whole system as the only thing he can and must do is sell hundreds of thousands of coins to pay his huge tax bill.

Its not the best thing that you can do now because the value is going to be worth and that would be nice for the most people who already have Bitcoin so that would be perfect.
The only thing that you never know is the right moment to sell it and that can be risky also if you are doing wrong.

That risk will always be associated with bitcoin  as no one know when is the right time to buy or sell, its is instant and if it works in right way then you are lucky enough.
