Bitcoin can't be banned. If it's is eventually banned many users and investors will do so many illegal things to continue using it.

They will not do it, because they can not, but I do not know what will happen. Civil War ? I think that many people will be very upset. Especially after so much money and effort was spent on bitcoin. Fortunately, this will never happen.

I am certain that it will never happen if you are talking about a total ban because the biggest threat that can bring down btc was the China ban. That moment was the most critical because it was no or go for btc but thankfully we succeed.

What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal? How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?
To bitcoiners who think no government would take the extreme step of banning Bitcoin need to to back to history. There was a time when holding gold bullion was a crime in America, punishable by a sentence of up to ten years in prison. In 1933, American President Franklin D Roosevelt issued an order requiring all Americans to hand over their gold holdings to the Federal Reserve Bank. The ban on owning gold remained in place for more than four decades, before President Ford legalized gold ownership. This move was made easy by the fact that America had abandoned the gold standard a short while prior and hence had no need to own vast quantities of gold to back up the amount of currency it printed. Therefore if the government of a country put a ban on bitcoin today there is no big deal life continues though we may loose bitcoiners from that country but there will still ve a way of doing business with them.

I think if Bitcoin was been illegal in the whole world because of the join forces of government all over the whole world, I will still use Bitcoin, Because Bitcoin was decentralizes no one can track us. They have to destroy the technology of Bitcoin if they want the whole world to stop using it or flooding Bitcoin volume in the market.

If btc will ban, there are a lot ofpeople who will be affected, specially those who invest some money on it. Tradings will also be affected if bitcoins will be ban because most of the people invested already their money on it so meaning to say their investment will be gone for nothing.

I think bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would continue to exist regardless of it being considered illegal or being banned by the government simply because bitcoin was design in such a way that it is a bit challenging to track who is using which or eho is generating which. Also, the mere fact that bitcoins hold so much value and use to users worldwide would keep people from using it. I, personally, would still find a way to trade and invest in bitcoins because I know that it is worth investing in. It's not like I'm stealing someone's money by engaging in bitcoin so as long as I'm eatning it the tight way (not scamming someone for it), I will still push for using bitcoins.

Is that even possible? how will it happen, for a government to banned bitcoins. It is anonymous and not traceable to a particular entity so if it is banned, people will still use it and it will make bitcoins price even higher and more desirable. You know men like freedom and trying to tie them to centralize economy wont see the light of the day.

I think if some countries here in the whole world ban the bitcoins in all kinds of financial activities there will be no virtual currency operate in the public market. All things will consider manual system their real money for all contract of sale.

The major countries, will be left behind from the minor countries, that they will become major, because they will take advantage of Bitcoin. The major countries will become minor, because they will lose the benefits of Bitcoin, and minor countries will overtake them in financial growth.

They can ban it as much as they want, but anyone who has used it before will continue to use it as if nothing happened. I do not think they can track transactions or prevent us from using bitcoin, so this will not happen.

exactly, One thing will happen that the price will fall and transactions will be less. If only a few countries banned btc then everything is still fine but if the whole world is so united then it can be said the crypto market will freeze. Maybe the transaction will still take place but will be very little and the trading is no longer attract people as today.

If bitcoin is banned I think there will be another form or variation that might be identical to bitcoin's structure and functionality. People would create, invent improvise, search and introduce an alternative option to trade and operate in.
But that is an implausible scenario with bitcoin's status and value today, that would be a messy and dubious scene. Protest would be global. Bitcoin's innovation and reach is almost worldwide and considering bitcoin is currently an asset and a currency, it will stay for a very long period of time.
Your thinking is good but I think that it is impossible that all the government in the world banned Bitcoin. The bitcoin is legalizing now in many countries and many sites on internet are coming on bitcoin for transactions. Some countries which have no awareness of advantages of bitcoin have banned bitcoin in their country. But Bitcoin’s popularity is growing up and up. The people are happy to invest in Bitcoin because the control is totally in the hands of investor.

If that happens we would all still be using bitcoins. Because bitcoin is great as our digital assets. Bitcoin is also anonymous and difficult for the opponent by the government.

The government cannot banned btc, if they do..We may lose a few community members a long the way but it would not be a big deal because we probaby would have lost them anyway. The rest would get smarter.
