I love to compare bitcoin with the poker scene as I think the two have similar trajectories.
When black friday came along and got rid of all the American players in the poker world,it hampered the scene big time.
It has never gained back its traction to 2005 times when it was mayhem and money splashing all over the online sites.
So bitcoin would most likely not be banned in every country but if America was to follow through it would limit or cripple its use.

If all the  governments form a group to do that they could make better things actually, I doubt a democratic country can pass something like banning an online currency, even the US (the place specialized in banning things) has taken a rather accepting approach to BTC and made regulations for it and sold the loot they got too. And instead of banning die countries are heavily allowing it's adoption. It won't happen in reality my brother.

Unemployment with Bitcoin being banned? How is that possible? I never heard any news about an employer paying salaries with Bitcoin. If you mean people earning Bitcoin online, it does not mean they are working. Also it will not cause any unemployment as the salaries paid to employees are Fiat not Bitcoin. I don't think anyone is depending on Bitcoin for their family to live right now.

If BTC was banned, I think some people will leave bitcoin because if they still use it they may considered as a criminal since bitcoin is banned. But, I believe there are still more people who stick to bitcoin, especially for those people who use bitcoin since the early. Bitcoin has so many advantages that any other currencies don't have, so it will be hard to leave bitcoin for good.

Many people would react or will be angered about banning bitcoin currency and it affects alot of peoples future and will get back to the paypal that very hard to earn/payout because bitcoin is the best online currency nowadays in the world, For me bitcoin affects alot of my life because i can get money when in emergency or when i need it badly thats why i don't want bitcoin to get banned.
Although bitcoin is best currency for now, we'd better don't make it the only hope. Until now there has not been a country that legalized bitcoin as official money. the best way is to stay real-world business
We don't have to make it our only hope as long as there are other crypto currencies we could always move to them if for some reason bitcoin was made illegal or for reason it failed.

In my view these are just supposition and not reality is there in these new. Actually bitcoin ban which I think is impossible because it is spread across the world, then we will certainly join another crypto currency which exists from earlier and if governmet bans that too then we will switch to new cryptocurrency.

Actually Nothing will happen, most likely the most people will just stay holding the bitcoin and Erik probably continue the use. And I think people will not even care about it how do they want to find out you are using it because it's Anonymous and people could use but government couldn't find or track the user

I think there will be economic unstablity among the bitcoin user because many bitcoin user depends high on bitcoin for pocket money or to manage family and there are million and billions of money invested in infrastructure and finally user and miner have to give up all the system and switch to another currency or something else

if bitcoin is banned completely then there might be heavy losses because there are many user across the world that had invested millions and billions of money being bitcoin and I think people will not give up bitcoin easily because it have opportunities to earn money for free and it had freedom and there is no barriers like government issued paper currencies

yes that is a fact that bitcoin is one the best crypto currency but still not a single country accept it as legal currency, but it is also a fact that still not a single country has banned bitcoin for their users, and that is the reason that people are using it continuously and without any fear.

We can't do anything if such country will ban bitcoin but since we are big and we can transact from country to country as we are world wide, there's still a big chance that we will be successful in the future, we are just only 1% of the total users now compared to the worlds population but look at how progressive bitcoin already.

I find this to be very difficult to believe, if bitcoin was banned then even if we moved to another altcoin what is stopping the governments to declare that altcoin as illegal as well? Nothing, so maybe we will see a massive banning of all the cryptocurrencies.

As you can probably guess, Bitcoin being banned (assuming it was in a few select countries) would more than likely break down the value a considerable amount, depending on what country it gets banned in. First-world countries would be extremely damaging.

A global ban would likely just push it underground.

Awww, it's definitely hypocritical because no one can track who is using bitcoin. Once it is announced that bitcoin should not be used then all stores and website will remove bitcoin acceptance payment gateway but  well there Erik be still 1000s of sources where we could use bitcoin. So there is nothing to fear.

I think unemployment will not be affected once bitcoin gets banned? why thus employment will gets affected? bitcoins have many dependent and most of them are those doing online business by means of earning bitcoins. Once bitcoins get banned, lets move on and look for another cryptocurrency that can give us an extra profit. And before they get banned bitcoins, I'm sure they need to create the law first explaining why they have to banned bitcoins.

You are right , But a big problem will introduce to move for new currency , which is tax , many people using bitcoin only because they want away from.taxtation .
So now i think may be a probability that new coin will comes in the online world .
