Bitcoin is far far far better than paypal because of paypals nonsense fees.

If you want charge back and other kinds of protection, you need to pay the fees.

those protect the buyers not the seller, so it's pointless to pay for something not complete, you can protect both with bitcoin also, with a trusted escrow

paypal is just a trusted escrow, nothing else
paypal never protect seller , paypal buyer protection (180 days to  dispute ) what scammers do to get their money back after get their stuff

Paypal has generated its own way of security to the users, likewise bitcoin has its method of security. When it comes to transaction fee bitcoin takes it lead because during transaction only a very very small percentage is considered as transaction charge which is that high in paypal. At times we have transaction errors in Bitcoin which makes users frustrating but paypal has given various moneyback guarantee options.

The bitcoin transaction fee is low at the moment, that is because of the block reward subsidy. In a few years, the transaction cost will rise as the block rewards reduce.

Yes and thus it prohibits micro transactions which is really bad. I hope this will change in a next update. Sure the network should have fees, but micro transactions should be possible too.
That's my opinion on this matter.

Because when buyer will have his bitcoins then he can claim back money from paypal by saying that i haven't received desired product.

In order to allow micro transactions, the Bitcoin blocksize will have to increase. Otherwise, the fee will be too large.

Blocksize should be increased within some month before this halving to make bitcoin still suitable for micro transactions.

Scammy paypal I will not choose from my side for the better transaction experience. Big transaction fee like western union transfers which cannot compare also with bitcoin. That is the only range of paypal. Bitcoin is milestone. PayPal will not reach place now and ever

micro transaction are a problem when the value will skyrocket, they need to fix that to, the minimum must be lower than what it is now, let's say 1k satoshi only

Bitcoin is better, its future

Bitcoin is a currency as well as a payment system. Paypal is just a payment processor. It will have to integrate bitcoin in the future.

Yeah, bitcoin is better then paypal for sure, the customer base of bitcoin is rapidly increasing day by day, and paypal is facing a tough competition from bitcoin, if there is continuous growth in the users of bitcoins then paypal would surely loose a huge number of customers.

In different point of views they have their own advantages. I have to say in terms popularity paypal is still the best options for merchants and buyers. Payapl has currently 173 millions activer accounts. As time passes, I believe bitcoin's advantage will be recognized by more ppl.

Bitcoin is better than paypal, easier to use. PayPal is more widely accepted in large merchant like ebay and amazon.
So its better using both.  Tongue

Yup dude. What PayPal doing its nothing according to me. I already gave feedback about that in thread. Still many people are supporting PayPal. we people are very less number who are all supporting bitcoin.

I think we need to create big awareness about bitcoin in social media or anywhere where we can do easily man.

Bitcoin is far best than PayPal. PayPal is pretty much like a bank. If you have any issue they close your account and then you won't see your money for a long time. Bitcoin on the other hand is actually free from banks, meaning that it is trully yours and banks can take it from you.

Paypal is definitely used by more merchants than Bitcoin is, though Bitcoin has the advantage of not having as large fees as Paypal has.
I don't think Bitcoin will be replacing Paypal soon, they both have their own strengths, but Paypal is still immensely more popular at the moment.

I agree that PayPal is more used by people worldwide, but it's just a matter of a few years before Bitcoin surpasses PayPal in terms of transaction volume in fiat value. After that Bitcoin will slowly come closer to payment giants as American express, MasterCard and Visa. It's really great to see how much progress Bitcoin made during the years.
