Bitcoin it is. Paypal did a good job in making their business known to online industry. But I think bitcoin should have its time now. The two can be used together but I still prefer bitcoin. Lower transaction fees and much faster for me.

I do agree bitcoins got a lower fee, but when you want to buy something online from an unknown person than PayPal is better because of their if you don't get a product than you got ways to recover your money back but if you send bitcoins than you lost your money. Bitcoins are safe to trade with only know people otherwise always need to go through with escrow.
There is no transaction fee while using PayPal if you are sending money to your friends, family or you have deal with some random dude.
PayPal is only collection fees if you are merchant offering your services/goods to people. So from normal user perspective if we are talking about fees alone - PayPal is better.
Thats not true.PayPal do deduct fee from recipient

I just had a look at the fee structure of PayPal, and it says that it is free to send money to friends and family using your PayPal balance or connected bank account. Only when you're a seller you have to pay a fee. The fee for sellers is 3.4% + $0.30 for every transaction. That being said, the higher the received amount is, the lower the fee percentage will be. But it will always be at least 2.4% which is still very high.

what do you want to do for what purpose etc. they are both completely different things but if you want to buy stuff online then use paypal. If you want a bank like system which is private with high interest rate and zero fees then use the bitcoin. Paypal uses alot of fees for transfering money etc so in that way they are worse then bitcoin

Was still paypal is the most convenient to use trasact online even higher the interest it has many uses because more people dont know about bitcoin that time. But when the time bitcoin started many people support the bitcoin and they start to used mostly as a low fee trasaction here especially with the transfer to another bitcoin wallet . So much better than the bitcoin use paypal .

well in my opinion i dont thinks that's depend on the purpose, but its more like does the person accept bitcoin, because bitcoin is not too popular, so not everyone want to accept bitcoin, and papypal has been around longer than bitcoin and has gain trust from the user, both of them are good payment system it just depend on the user

for me for now paypal is better because it is here for a longer time and also very secure with thousand steps of verification if something happens. only few things i hate about paypal is alot of times people can just take back money and also the fees to transfer money really add up if you have to make lots of  transfers other then that its still above btc for me.

More people accept paypal then bitcoin so if you want to buy or sell something, then paypal is the way to go. But, with bitcoin, you can't chargeback your bitcoins so it is safer(unless you open yourself up to a double-spend attack). I'd have to choose bitcoin because of no chargeback risks.

I'm liking them both but I must say that I like the bitcoin more because its a currency and also a investment that can provide you some good profit.
Due to this I think bitcoin is better, the only thing is that paypal has a nice dispute system that's all.

PayPal is for the winner of this fight, it has a nice dispute system and also a nice support if something goes wrong, with the bitcoin this is not the point at all.
The charge back system helped me already several times and this is also why I'm choosing for PayPal.

Yes and the charge back system has also helped a lot of scammers. Every thing that is positive can be abused by people with evil intentions. And also, apparently, the Buyer Protection of Paypal doesn't cover digital goods (which is always being sold in this place), so if you get a defective digital good, then you tried to dispute the payment, Paypal will be such a douchebag about it any you will not be able to recover your Paypal funds.

both things can used also for more things but what i recommend you is that you need to use the paypal method as a online paying method and when you use bitcoins make sure you make money with it dont spent it on bullshit,.
to me as i have never use paypal therefore i have no clear idea about this, i am only using bitcoin and not anything else. to me bitcoin is the best of all transaction more reliable trusted and profitable than anything else.
i agree with you i also have never use Paypal , but i think bitcoin is much more better than paypal or other and you are right that the bitcoin transaction is very easy and faster and there is no transaction fees of bitcoin if you using for shopping .

To be fair, Paypal is now decoupled from ebay, so the rules may be better or worse.

Paypal is good if you are a consumer.

It was good for me  for a while on ebay. That was until I sold some bitcoin to the wrong person.

I had more respect for the scammer than paypal. The person who scammed me (supposedly stolen account), had the good grace to leave me positive feedback, which kind of indicates I sent the bitcoin.

The account owner (probably the the real owner and scammer were the same person), put in a claim. A few
months later I lost, my account went into the red because of their charges anyway when they removed the money paid for the bitcoin. Despite evidence that I sent the bitcoin (positive feedback, snapshots of the transaction on blockchain, showing I sent to the address I was given by the buyer, and mails sent to the buyer detailing the transaction number), paypal fucked me over and put me further in the red.

It was obvious I was a victim, but they made me cover the costs. Or rather, they tried, as I refused to pay and have not used their services since.

I think the person who scammed me actually tried to cover me by leaving the positive feedback. Maybe!

Paypal is much more widely accepted but you have much less control over your funds. If Paypal decides to freeze your money, you're screwed. With Bitcoin, the only way your money can be taken away from you is if your computer gets hacked.

Thats not true.PayPal do deduct fee from recipient

You are right but snorek is also right as if you will send money with the option of friends and family gift then paypal will not deduct any fees from you or maybe will deduct a minute amount of fee, but beside this I will like bitcoin as with bitcoin we live with freedom with our money.

Yes the amount of 2.4% is pretty high if you are asking me,
Every you're make $10 for a transation you will get, $0.24, and above from that like $100 you will get $2,4 for fees that is worthed with your sending amount, but you're right it's pretty high for you.
I think that if I had the choice of doing sales in bitcoin or paypal I would go for bitcoin.
You don't need to say about this, look at yourself you're already active in this place and I can define if you're an active btc users.
The only downside of bitcoin is that buyers not trust bitcoin sellers very fast..
The confirmation is can't make seller can providing their fast service..

This like depends for using bitcoin and paypal. For me i like using for bitcoins, because bitcoins no need account, transaction so fast, no button "dispute" . I Know paypal have feature dispute this like for policy prevent theft. All this back again to you how to save secure account.
