Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Sorry for disappointing everyone, I too had my hopes up.

No need to apologize, couldn't have ended any other way.
More soothsaying:
-No meaningful payback. Ever.
-No dox dump
-Possible navy seal copypasta-grade threats from web warriors
-Everyone forgets & and starts playing with ball of twine

Enjoy your coin Smiley

I will not be publicly doxing of Master-P, nor do I think it would be helpful in any way at this point.

The peanut gallery can go fuck itself. People were robbed, this isn't a circus even if the staff do wear funny clown noses from time to time. Here is the rest of your selectively edited quote.

Considering Master-Ps recent post where he says he can not access his escrowed funds and wants to make repayments, I wanted to post here and make it clear I will not be publicly doxing of Master-P, nor do I think it would be helpful in any way at this point. However if after a certain amount of time directly affected individuals are not satisfied with his progress, they can send me transaction ids with signed addresses I will consider releasing that information to them personally for collection purposes. I wish all affected good luck. Sorry it didn't turn out better.

I don't necessarily believe Master-P, but it is in fact possible he is telling the truth. These things happen when people get lazy and don't take appropriate security precautions. It wouldn't be the first or the last time. If in fact he is telling the truth he deserves a reasonable period of time to compensate his victims. Additionally doxing him publicly will probably make it harder for him to repay, as well as removing any motivation for him to pay short of criminal prosecution from the victims. Considering how caustic of an environment this community is it shouldn't be a surprise this place has basically turned into 4chan with an extensive research library. The only thing I give a shit about is seeing the victims repayed. The rest of you rubberneckers can suck a bag of dicks.

In this situation it's the right step to do. If you doxx then you have nothing to push forward. The only way then might be to sue. Though of course the doxx should come at one time. So giving a timeframe until the next payment should happen sounds wise.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Details of Scam:
i was selling him csgo keys he wanted to buy 60 and we decided to do 10 at a time , we did so 5 times while his payments being slow but i lived with it , then at 6th batch he made some story about his wallet being slow or sth and that it will take him some time to pay , since he have huge reputation on btctalk i didnt have a problem and didnt suspect , now almost 24 hours later he refuses to pay for the last batch using the 2 UNCONFIRMED reports i have on my profile as an excuse saying he doesnt trade with potential scammers .
when confronted with the fact he already traded with me and even holds the last 10 keys he havent paid for yet he used an argument i have with another member from btctalk and the fact we are having problems in a trade we made and now he is refusing to pay "untill i sort my issues with that member"

Again, thanks a lot for the free insult most charming gentleman.
This community...

And the "fucking simpleton" advises you to think a bit more about the LEGAL definition of escrow and what's needed for it. We're talking about filing a case, so the question is not what you BELIEVE an escrow is, but can master-p be legally considered as an escrow and what are his obligation as one. Under the law. Not for your useless opinion.

Think more, insult less. Kiss.

He migth not be an escrow in the fully legal status of his country but what remains is that an escrow takes funds that he knows belongs to other people. It was no present, the contract is clearly defined and even written down in private messages. So at least it is clear that the escrow has the obligation to pay the funds either back, when the deal goes wrong or forwards them to the seller when the buyer agrees.

Next thing is... the story now is "Hacker". With all the logic holes in this story he would have a real hard time at court to proove that actually a hacker would be involved.

By the way... why are you so involved in this? Fighting the "community" for getting angry about inconsistencies in the storyline? And i have to admit that your accusations against the bitcoin community remind me a lot of master-P.

What's in it for you?

Thinking with all this drama now is a good time to get out of the escrow biz though. It is not worth anyone's time who does it. I still do not think we have the entire story on this. Scamming for 23BTC just does not seem like an exit scam. I would think if he wanted to get more he could have?

If this is an exit scam then it took that long maybe in the try to collect more coins, but not enough came together.

I agree... escrowing is normally not something worth your time. It's kind of an idealistic job to protect the forum members from scammers. Or at least make it hard for them. I see how you think about quitting, i admit i have this thought not seldom too, it simply costs a lot of time. Though i think i will continue because i like when people are happy at the end of a transaction. I feel like i could make bitcoin area a little bit safer and getting a tip is nice too.

Though of course it's no job to be paid for the time invested.

I know youre trusted a lot and i think people that are really trusted and proved it for a long time are needed more than ever. Don't give up!  Wink

Now this is madness! Why is TECSHARE not revealing his DOX in public? He should not get convinced by master-p sending tiny amount of repayments.

I've seen TECSHARE do something similar before, he put DOX live on a well known scammer and took them down again shortly after. I suspect Master P has probably paid him off

I got my eye on you now motherfucker, don't ever slip. Thinking it and saying it in public are two different things. As you probably don't know I don't take people making shit up about me very lightly.

All you idiots are such bloodthirsty drama queen basement dwellers, and you wonder why no one in this community is helpful any more. I got Master-P to start making partial payments to the victims, and my reward? Being accused by slack jawed dildos of being complicit with him because I don't just immediately toss him into the fire like the rest of you mongoloid 4chanites are chanting for without a thought in your heads other than your own personal entertainment. Next time I will just stay out of it and just let you get robbed with impunity. The internet is just one big version of The Sims to you and all you want to do is build a house with no toilet so you can laugh that the "virtual" characters that have no place to shit and die while you beat off to furry porn on the side.

You do realize that the situation Master-P claims to be in could happen to anyone right? No I don't believe him just because he said it. No I don't think any of this is an excuse even if he is telling the truth. He is 100% legally liable for this loss whether he knows it or not. I am giving him time to fix his error, intentional or otherwise. How many of you can pull $12k out of your ass in 3 days? Putting him in a cell and forcing him to pay for lawyers will not get anyone paid back. Harassing him over the internet will not get anyone paid back. Delaying his doxing provides no real advantages to him getting away with this, he is already identified. People keep mentioning these unspecified reasons he could take advantage of a delay, but some how no one can give any good reason why this would help him. What it does help however is THE VICTIMS.

Assuming he is in fact telling the truth, at least about repayment, this is the most likely way to get people repaid, but who cares about the victims when there is so much drama to be had right? Harassing some one who is paying out of their own pocket for a $12k fuck up is a good way to just get him to say fuck you idiots and take his chances with being prosecuted. Additionally if I dox him now, what am I going to do if he ceases payments? Dox him again?

And the big kicker not one of you morons thought about.... Have you ever considered that the actual perpetrator might be trying to make Master-P appear responsible for the theft in order to get all you goons focused on him so he, the actual perpetrator can get away scott free? No, of course you haven't, because popcorn. You are all a bunch of muppets and you love it. So do con artists. This community's 4chan like atmosphere is what makes it so easy for these people to con you all and get away with it.

Let me reiterate again for the lazy fucks who don't bother reading and want to pretend like they know what is going on.

-If any of the actual victims want his dox, I have already agreed to provide it to them once they show me TX info and sign a message from the address

-If he stops making payments, dissapears, or if he starts turning this into a game, I will dox him. Until then, as long he is cooperating and victims are being repaid, his doxing will not happen, at least not from me.  BTW Glen, your info is incomplete and or erroneous. Hopefully you have enough sense to give him a little time to repay before you turn this into another 3 ring circus like you always do.

Multi-Sig has issues also..

Normal multisig has issues for sure when buyer and seller are included. Because both of them has an incentive to scam potentially, because it's easy to use a new username.

Though when really trusted escrows do this and you need, for example 3 of 4 of these trusted escrows then the level of risk sounds very low to me. For high transactions i consider this a good idea.

tecshare, you're the one now creating drama for no reason

the hack story had been debunked already in two different ways - hacker not moving the coins, and hacker paying out sig campains - so your rant is off base

good luck trying to stop people from browsing Master-P's OWN POSTS which is where gleb's info is coming from

Received my coin today in the mail. It is indeed a very nice high quality silver coin as I expected from ravenbit as I already own one of their previous series copper coins. Communication and shipping was very prompt and the coin was packaged very securely in a box wrapped in bubble wrap in the bubble mailer. Keep up the good work, will definitely be buying more in the future Smiley Looking forward to future designs.

Ok smart guy. Then explain to me in detail how it is impossible for a hacker to fake this... I will wait. BTW, did you ever consider that Master-P was posting info he already anonymized? And who said I was trying to stop it? BTW way to skip over everything else and go for the one thing no one really knows for sure to argue with me about. A+. But I am the one starting drama right?

I think it's pretty much the opposite. In absolute terms you will generally make more running an exit scam than operating legitimately, for far less effort. When I was running Just-Dice, I was taking 10% commission on profits, which is a healthy amount. The site profited by around 20k, so I was able to take around 2k in commission. When I shut the site down the bankroll was in the region of 50k. That's 50k that I could have just kept rather than returning. By returning it, I turned down the chance of "earning" 25 times more than I had earned in the previous year of hard work. I will likely never earn that much again, so the argument that "trusted people won't scam because they earn more by being honest" doesn't work. You make more stealing than you do being honest. Which, I guess, is why we see so many people stealing.

I agree. Unfortunately it would be the fastest way. You take a high risk and you take a reward though unfortunately a scammer in the same position would profit more... if he would be able to hide properly after that.

I think you paying back all these 50k bitcoins was the point where i raised you on top of my most trusted persons on the forum. You surely had the thought to default but you had a good character.

And the risk is high too. The highest amount of coins i held that i did not own was only 10% of the 50k you held but even then i had to go through a very risky situation because these were refunds and the person who gave the refunds made a script that easily could have lead to great errors. For example a user i made a scam accusation against later tried to claim the refunds. It only would have needed a click on a confirmation link on my email and the refunds would have gone to his address. And you running just-dice with that amount of bitcoins had to bear 10 times the risk. It surely is no fun to think about that. It's somewhat frightening.

Anyway... i think there are a lot of honest people on bitcointalk and when it is about escrows then the prevented scams were surely WAY WAY more worth in bitcoins than the scams that happened with or from escrows.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.
