hyip is the same thing like gambling, even on this forum investor based games (hyips) are in gambling thread, also in hyips the same like in gambling you have a possibility to loose money but you also can make money

For me not the same because you can win and gain profit with gambling than HYIp's
Because HYIP's are scam and there is no profit you can get..
So its better to invest on gambling than investing in any HYIP pozi's

but you can also make money in ponzis and hyips too if you are lucky enough to invest into it your money while its still paying, of course it can turn to scam very fast and you would loose money, but that means its a gamble

No i dont experience any hyip that you can get profit. Im always scammed many times like on coinsera

next day of it's launch!

but in hyip it depends on luck too, if you are lucky your investment will be back if the ponzi will stay for a while, and if you are not lucky you will lose money to it, i cant see too much of a difference

Yes, HYIP may disappear at any time whereas gambling will provide some opportunity to make profits if we have luck and some skills. HYIP is completely out of our control once we make deposits into it but gambling is within our control to make some profits and withdraw at any time.

I had this though going on my mind about all the hyip websites.
All the topics being posted in gambling section and investment related ones made me reach a conclusion.

It is quite obvious but lets take it as a game itself.


Imagine a gambling system ( IMO probably fair my ... ) let you win win win and then when u go big and greedy its over in a blink of an eye.
Who could say all these complex gambling games or system coming up isn't rigged by the coders.

so back to the point,

many of the hyip website come online for a month or so, with good investment of their own to fool people for some time and when they have earn more than invested they jsut disappear.
So why dont we do it like gambling. Just have to know when to stop. since all these website now a days show TXID for legitimacy. i think we could maybe withdraw on the right time.


do not invest more that you are willing to lose. same concept of gambling.

I think this is quite different between gambling and HYIP. HYIP is already scam you from the start you are invest on it but with gambling although you make some small bet but with some luck you can win big enough and I am sure most site will pay you out and you can withdraw it directly or may be instant.

there is no pattern in gambling games. It is just mostly pure luck

I kind of agree. There are no patterns, we just form patterns in our minds, like we are on a winning streak, and we sense that we are about to lose, but this is just %, statistics, chance, it's not a true pattern by the strict definition of the word.

But there is guarantee for their payment always. It's kind of doubler but in some percentage.
HYIP borrows your money but will never return, with gambling you have option to withdraw your funds even after some losses too. If HYIP got closed, all your money will go with them.

but in hyips you get a possibility to make bigger money if there are a lot of investments from other people as casinos might not let you to make such big bets, in my opinion both casinos and hyips have a lot of advantages and disadvantages

I think Hyip has to work like a ponzie it has to show people are getting a payment otherwise others are more than likely not to even think of investing. Gambling is totally different if you bet on sports you can use odds and probability to work out if something is worth betting on. Computer generated gaming on the other hand it is entirely possible for there to be something in the coding that could give the house the edge. People don't make gambling sites to give away money.

In few days - fast scams ( between 7-30 days ) they collect for example 15 BTC so admin close the site (ponzi creation usually cost around 2 BTC = 13 BTC profit for him )

I do take HYIPS as some kin o gambling. They have both the risk. The nly difference is that in hyip you are fooled with the promise of a lingterm investment tha you will get more than you expected from it while in gambling, you hold the coins and the decision to continue betting is within your hands it's like a game.

Some hyips don't pay out, though, let alone have any randomness to them. Some hyips that I personally think will last for a long time, like cryptoboost.co, are more skill and timing based.

almost hyip site is ponzi...just some site not going to ponzi..high profit will be close soon
the first invest will be get their profit...the late will be lost at all...
but gambling not going to close his site...just our luck in play...
