Existing coin holders will suffer a lot more if there is no interest at all. We are nearly there, go look at how deep each side of the bid/ask is on coinexchange.

I have downloaded the new wallet, but I am a bit confused as to where to put my wallet file. Upon opening the wallet, it has my previous transactions, but the HOdl'd amount and Total are different. The interest rate is going up to about 800% a year for HOdl'd coins - so you'd expect to see your Hold'd amount go up a lot - but of course, those are not spendable until the HOdling period ends. Inflation will also rise, but inflation will not be near as high as the new interest rates.
