Hope its open to all regions not only USA

It can be open to all people but obviously the $12 shipping is USA.  Not sure how to coordinate international sales but if there is any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Possibly have the miner shipped to someone like MyUS.com and forwarded overseas.
OK, thanks for that trick

Anybody who run these units at home...can you comment how loud/quiet are they at default (like S3, like S5, or something less)?
Thanks.

assume you have a quiet psu.

I can run them a little quieter then the s-3  when providing 12 votes and setting fan at 20  freq at 500

thanks, i have a couple of EVGA 1300 left (those will do 12V just fine), no big miners in the house now (all in hosting), just gekkoscience sticks flashing blue and white and SILENCE-for a first time since winter of 2014. Thinking of bringing one or two Avalons home to break the spell. We shall see, I need them to be really quiet.
Can they be tolerable in the same room (home office) or still a bit much?
I saw your picture with 63.8 db, but it also depends on a pitch (whooshing or screeching?).

Biodom - The noise from the Avalon is just rushed air (1 Fan vs 2 on the S7), not whining Jet Engine like S7.  The default speed is at 20% and it's as quiet as S3, so you can definitely have it running in your office.  However that's only if your office need a 1100W heater or you can get Ebay ducts to vent out the vent thru the window for summer.  You just need to make sure you run it with a super quiet PSU like the EVGA G2 as the PSU may end up being noisier than your Avalon.  Right now my house is 70F and the box is sounds like a little computer FAN up close.  If your environment is hotter and you need to run the fan above 40% then the sound is closer to a Microwave exhaust fan on low to medium depending on the fan speed.  I'm using it in my Living room right now to heat up the house.  With the TV on, I don't even notice the Avalon 6 running.  This is why the Avalon 6 is still my favorite box.  At this $1100 price, it definitely keeps it in the race especially if the PI is included as I paid $1550 for it just a month ago.

yes  Valkir and HerbPean  will have their 2 shipped to my house in NJ  and I will get them up to Montreal

So that is 2

I have decided on 2   so 2+2 = 4 to my home in NJ

I have some confusion on shipping  are all USA orders going to be dropped shipped to kilo17?

at 1112usd   then you ship them out?  Would  a secondary shipping be needed?

I get that Valkir and HerbPean  are in Montreal  and I am going to charge them as little as possible to get the two from NJ to Can.

@ the guy in South Africa  KeezAza    if I get a fifth I could ship it to you  but I need to see how much extra it will be. 1112 + ?

Fast check with us post office if I send it with 300 insurance priority express it is 95 usd to ship

so you would be 1112 + 95 = 1207 usd

That's a good point philipma1957, kilo17 did mention that it will be $12 shipped anywhere in the USA. So I'm assuming Blockc will dropship to the people in the USA? Since he mentioned anywhere in the USA...

Or maybe Blockc will shipped to kilo17 for free, and it cost kilo17 $12 to ship anywhere in the USA?

A clarification would be great from kilo17, so there won't be any hidden surprises of a secondary shipping charge or anything or how the Avalon 6 will be shipped to the customers.

Thanks.

There definitely won't be any hidden charges.  I am trying to have them shipped directly to you from BlockC.  Worst case is I would send them labels for the few that aren't going to Phil or myself.

kilo17 & philipma1957, what is the exact BTC amount that we need to transfer to escrow so I know how much to set aside for this group buy. Thanks.

so 1112  at 448 btc is  2.482   so put aside 2.5  for each one

And   when we do pm's for payment i it would be 2.5000xxxx  the 4x at the end will be a number I pick

Like 2.50001134    each person will have a different  four numbers I set so I can id you

I realize the 2.500 at this moment is  a tiny bit over 2.482 it does allow for price shift in btc
If kilo17 can set a more exact price that works for me.
but I do us the .0000xxxx to make sure each person accounted for.

I use a 0.0000xxxx system

Those xxxx are the pin  for instance  0.00005401 is about 2 cents

All buyers in this deal will get a different pin in the form of the last 4

 0.00005401 for you

0.00001937 for valkir

everyone has a different number

cost is cheap and it makes your tx - id more unique .

the pm  I send will ask for say 2.50001233  I will post tx id here of the escrow

everyone will have a different 2.5000xxxx no confusion.

Always match my profile to any pm's
