Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?

Why are we comparing bitcoin with banks? It will not beat bank and replace it, bank is wide and it's controlled by the government. Bitcoin is backed up by fiat currency without fiat currency being used to purchase bitcoin then bitcoin will lose its value. Banks are very well oriented in the modern world, and I think that nothing will happen to their work. Bitcoin can not win the whole corporation. It's impossible.

I think not, banks will still exist as long as there is client believing  to them,. And bitcoin will become popular as years pass by, maybe in the near future some of the banks in the entire world will accept bitcoin because of the technolgy, but not now I think.

I believe that it can change the world and change the bank system. However, it will take at least a century for Bitcoin to do that. Bitcoin basically connect with the internet and the online system and as you can see, there are still many countries and people do not have a chance to access the internet. The Internet is also one of a major problem. But if it is there also Bitcoin will not make Banks disappear. I may believe that in future Bitcoin can disappear and it will replace by any other digital currency. But any digital currency will not make banks disappear. In my opinion it is a great paradox when you come into comparison of Bitcoin and banks (or banking system). I have studied financial history and, especially, history of banking. Everytime the new technology was underway and posed some threat to the banks it was smoothly absorbed and integrated by major banks to benefit from it. What I think will hapen in the future. Banks will absorb and integrate the whole benefits of blockchain technology or any other technological innovations coming from the cryptocurrency world. Banks have enough political and financial strength to do that. They will increase their incomes dramatically in the future thanks to the blockchain and align technologies.

Yeah, I agree with you, one thing for sure is that bitcoin cannot take over the place of banks as countries still rely mostly on banks and bitcoin doesn't fit with bank system. Yes bank is already very attached with the people in the financial sector, although some systems a slight disadvantage. But it is true we can not make bank disappear just because bitcoin is growing and popular, both systems are very different. I think in some countries banks and bitcoin have started side by side, and not a problem.

Just a few years from now, paper money will disappear, $  and other fiat currencies will become digital only and banks will adopt to the new trend. Fiat will then coexist with Bitcoins. No banks will adapt they will not disappear.

the bank is a great for a county and economic system to controling inflation and deflation
