So last night as we watched the fork happen in flappy chat we noticed that the Buzz room
was a stirring ... seems you guys lost all your pools at the time of the fork
even though you paid out all those bounties  tisk tisk tisk .

Buzz coin became difficulty locked on the pow side at 14 million and change.
The flappy dev team stayed up and spun up a new instance on one of our development pools
and got the new fork going on the pool ... We will support you by leaving this pool up

it took over 1LTC of rented hash and 4 hrs of setup to pop the block but the difficulty has returned to normal

The network may have been compromised last night encrypt and lock your wallet and we recommend shutting it down for now until we sort through what happened
The BUZZ Dev wallet was compromised and all coins transferred out early this AM. As a precaution we posted to have everyone lock and encrypt their wallets as we make sure that it is not affecting others as well.


We have verified that the network is fine and it was only the Dev wallet that was compromised. Stake on!

I did load the new wallet... however, I am showing out of sync at 741147.
Do I need to load a new bootstrap -- or should I roll back to the previous wallet -- which was connected and in sync without issues.

When did this hardfork happen?  It's unclear because this is an old coin.  Many people like myself don't know if you are talking about something that happened 3 weeks ago, or two days ago.

Hard Fork occurred the night of 9/19/17. Source, Wallet and Bootstrap (AND LOGO!) were all updated.
Per my experience, new wallet is working fine.
Coins were transferred over flawlessly and are now staking again.
You should expect exchanges (Yobit, Coinexchange) to need a short amount of time to update accordingly.
Dev has been plenty transparent about this update and is working with exchanges to expedite getting wallets updated.
We are right on track with the represented roadmap.

For who is having issues with syncing new wallet pls do this with me worked out.

Save the wallet.dat file first thing.

Then delete all inside the buzz folder(jist let the empty folder).
Now download the new bootstrapfork and the new wallet
Now put all file into buzz folder and copy the wallet.dat too
Now open buzz config file and add this node https://images-ext-2.discordapp.net/external/CIOOlSUgBpwGAmz40JtOh0lNirr2-fvfa5Th3BOgRWI/https/media.discordapp.net/attachments/359745395880099843/359975099501117441/Screenshot_20170920-100740.jpg after this close amd open your wallet it will be synced!!😉

So this looks like the best explanation.  Delete the contents of the Buzz folder in Appdata except wallet.dat
"bootstrapfork" must mean the newest bootstrap file.....
I've never seen a "node" that was a jpg file....if I open the .conf file that the new wallet makes (not all make them, is there a .conf file that needs to be pasted in here?)....do I put that link to a jpg in?

Looks like to bootstrap on the home page is incomplete.
The archive contains a .conf file with a single addnode.
