Airdrop did not complete. I never got the coins. Again, not a big deal, but it really didn't happy cleanly and I cannot imagine I'm the only one.

Yes I highly suggest someone who is capable of taking good responsibility to refurbish this coin, change the flaws in code if there is any and then relaunch it just like other coins are being done.

As far as I know this dev will not be back anytime soon.

Just take the example of how AntiBitcoin has been taken over which was previously a dead coin, this BTCU must also be taken over by some responsible and trusted dev.

Indeed, but the coin is not dead it is only a few weeks old. It's still trading at a good price but also at low volume. No coding flaws have been found yet. My point is I don't think it needs any sort of revival, just needs more services created to take off.

Plus, my wallet has 48 connections right now. Not bad at all!
