Is it really worth renting on miningrigrentals since the prices are really high over there. Minimum I found was at 0.0046 BTC/TH/Day against the recommended current price of around 0.0035 BTC/TH/Day ...

paying 46  when 35 is the fair price is a losing deal long term.

That is what I think but it seems there are a lot of miners renting from there. I guess I will stick with NH / WH ...

I've used MRR here and there (mostly when the prices were closer to in line).  For me the upside is twofold:

- I can set a few pools (in case one goes down the rental keeps mining)
- I can generally figure out what kind of gear is providing my hash (while not totally transparent it's far better than nicehash's setup)

I just like that I feel like there's a bit more control - however as Phil mentioned the prices aren't at a point where I'd rent from them right now.

Right now at Nicehash I can get
5th / 24 hrs / .03btc / .0041btc a day

MRR
5.06th / 24 hrs / 0.02312420 btc / 0.00000457 btc a day

I guess what I mean is Renting with Nicehash I don't feel I get the full rented hours. The hours adjust with the fluctuating hash. At MRR you pay for the time and the rented hash fluctuates but doesn't reduce your rented time.
Plus MRR you get credited if you don't get the promised hash from the renter.

I rented from nice hash to show how they rip you off
all 3 rentals are for 5 th only and notice the 24 th which makes my rental only for 2 hours instead of the projected 9 hours.

LOL... yeah, it's nice to see under 100% again Smiley.  Would be even nicer to see that reset from a block find!  I threw a couple PH at it over the weekend, but struck out.

Today bitcoinclassic started and the major supporter F2pool is kicking but on winning blocks. Are we missing something can this fork produce more blocks?

Thanks!  You've had some great luck over on BCMonster Smiley.

No, it's not going to produce more or faster blocks.  At this point classic is nothing more than core with an increase to 2MB block size limit - and that won't even come into play until such time that the majority of blocks mined are by Bitcoin classic nodes.

OK... it's been a while, and I think it's time for another promotion.  The pool is about to cross the 100% of expected shares for a block threshold.  There will be a block finder bonus for the next person to find a block on the pool.  The reward decays as the percentage over expectations increases.  It starts at 1BTC and goes down as follows:

100% to 109.99% = 1BTC bonus to block finder
110% to 119.99% = 0.9BTC bonus to block finder
120% to 129.99% = 0.8BTC bonus to block finder
...

Obviously, the sooner you find a block, the better your reward will be Smiley.  Oh, and as usual, I do not qualify for my own promotions.

The promotion ends either when the block is found, or if the expected shares crosses the 200% mark.

Good luck!

36 fixed orders at this moment on nicehash - the euro side has les - that's kind of crazy.

Especially at a minimum of .0038 (and if you want a fixed order right now - you'll pay .0047)

Jonny - thanks for the promotion - thats awesome!!
