It'd be pretty cool if this was actually legitimate so that the bastard gets what he deserves. Vern hasn't said anything on Twitter in a while, he might be away.

Somehow i doubt crptsy was hacked and this could be a theft

How can you be sure that crptsy was hacked and where did you get the proof of it ?

Well, this is great way at least to prove that Big Vern s been honest about the hack. If he doesn't at least reply to this initiative, well, then it s obvious everything s been a BS.

I already told him some slick cat by the name of BigVern took the coins. I still haven't received my 1000 BTC. Good luck!

I'm curious about the results. I tend to believe that it was an internal job but probably not Big Vern himself, as that would be just stupid. There was a lot more potential in Cryptsy as a working exchange than 10k BTC and 300k LTC. Perhaps I'm naive, but grabbing the bag and running looks like to kill the goose that laid the golden eggs, and roast it for dinner.

Exactly. Anyone could come up a lame story like that to save himself.
i wonder if any of his team will spill a bit of info once one didn't get a fair share.

Some of the wallets are back online with most being on a maintenance mode so it's probable that they got some funds. Just not sure where it came from or were they able to retrieve their btcs.

did you try to open a support ticket? its a minor chance but if you really have the ability to get the bounty, then you should not give up to contact him, try the post way to, write to his office.

Yeah, this is very suspect...declaring insolvency and preferring some customers (those with alts) over other customers (those with BTC). This is also quite illegal. Does he need a powershovel to dig himself a bigger hole with the authorities?

How is this illegal?
