It is sin to gamble in every big religion.A sin is something which is not appreciable but it not crime.In some eastern countries it is just crime and some it is sin and crime both regardless of explanations by people.

I recommend everyone to stop following any religion and start acting for yourself, stop looking for answers in some ancient books that didn't even knew that Bitcoin would exist. Gambling is not that bad and that is because many people do it for fun but some people are also thinking that they can win some money with it but that is not true.
Because the chance is really small that you can earn profit with it and that is the problem.

I think in the real religions you are banned from that things because in it, there is a harm, if not for then for other, and also it is considered as stealing the others money, as in gambling no one want to lose their money and when they lose their money is grabbed from him/her .

Gambling is only sin when you are losing a lot of money with it and that would be bad but the chance is also high that you can lose a lot of money with it and that is bad.
But gambling is just only made for fun and that is important but you never know what will happen to you when you are gambling.

There is no such thing as sin or non-sin if you are not religious, and im not religious because I think all religions are man-made bullshit, therefore I will gamble if I want to, but guess what, gambling a lot is stupid, so I will never lose any relevant amounts of money because im not an idiot.

I've heard about gambling being considered a sin in few books that I've read but these books also mention that greed and ambition can lead to sin. Anything that involves the greed to ear money is considered wrong. Gambling can be good till one doesn't make it rule their mind, heart and body and knows where to draw the line.
