It is sin to gamble in every big religion.A sin is something which is not appreciable but it not crime.In some eastern countries it is just crime and some it is sin and crime both regardless of explanations by people.

You should have bigger worries than thinking if gambling is a sin or not. I recommend everyone to stop following any religion and start acting for yourself, stop looking for answers in some ancient books that didn't even knew that Bitcoin would exist. Religions just don't make sense anymore in 2016, it's about self reflection and ascending through knowledge.

it all depends if you are gambling all your wealth away and you are an irresponsible gambler then it is a sin,gambling should be for fun just to challenge your wit and luck beyond that it's a sin .. Gambling is not that bad and that is because many people do it for fun but some people are also thinking that they can win some money with it but that is not true. Because the chance is really small that you can earn profit with it and that is the problem. |

What is a sin? A 'sin' to one person may be a norm to another. Religion aside, most people just view a 'sin' as a burden of guilt. Defined 'acting against divine law' .......... LOL Ok god, I won't beat my wife in public. Now that we're in the comfort of our home, I can beat my property without committing a sin. But gambling? Damn, I'm gonna feel real bad about that...  Divine law...hilarious...how do people actually believe in this stuff? Fear of the unknown? A crutch to fall back against? I think in the real religions you are banned from that things because in it, there is a harm, if not for then for other, and also it is considered as stealing the others money, as in gambling no one want to lose their money and when they lose their money is grabbed from him/her . |

Gambling is only sin when you are losing a lot of money with it and that would be bad but the chance is also high that you can lose a lot of money with it and that is bad. But gambling is just only made for fun and that is important but you never know what will happen to you when you are gambling. |

Gambling can be sin in my opinion too. Because what are not suitable for a healthy and happy life which are must be classified as sin. Then we can avoid them at least religiously... |

Anything that involves the greed to ear money is considered wrong. Gambling can be good till one doesn't make it rule their mind, heart and body and knows where to draw the line. |
