Been an interesting 2 years! Smiley And some interesting company!

I guess it will not be long until 2020. Only 770 days of the current Trump Presidential term, of which he could serve two, as of the time of this writing (reference).   Roll Eyes

Crysx is investigating an issue with the official pool (http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/bern/index.php) now. Sorry for the orphans. But hey, it is Christmas time. Isn't there something about helping orphans during Christmas? lol, I joke.

Many thanks for Crysx taking the time to give this prompt attention during the holiday... and for finally getting out of bed. Tongue haha

Hope you all are having a warm, safe, and happy holiday! Keep those touches BERNing and your pitchforks near! Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas mate, and to all 'Berners'.

We had a slight issue yesterday for some reason, and a restart with cleanup and maintenance fixed the issue. Bern daemon is a solid one that just runs, so it may have been anything, as we cannot seem to locate what that issue may be. All is well now and we hope the Bern daemon will run for another 5 months straight again without missing a beat. Pretty solid wallet.

We are working towards the new server in the new year and hope to have that fully functional shortly after commissioning it, so we can build the new pools.

Much appreciation for the thanks, but the pools system is my responsibility, and I like to get more than 3hours when it is a Blessed time like Christmas. Pity I don;t drink the Christmas spirits also, would be sleeping a LOT more then Tongue hehehe

CWI will support BernCash all the way, which means that when the rest of our infrastructure is completed, including the new CWI-Pool system, we will have BERN as part of the systems main coins.

Enjoy the New Year everyone, and thanks so much Steven, we have a LOT to do in 2018 Wink

Hi crush
How is the pool?
Never find a block

Investigating. Blocks were being found, so "never" is not the case. Crysx does not seem to be online at the moment, but we will make sure everything is in order asap.

EDIT: The pool has a warning up, "We are investigating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP." So yes, he is aware.

EDIT 2: Crysx is driving home. I will wait for him and we will get it sorted asap.

EDIT 3: Sorting now.

Yup ...

The resync was all 'wonky' so fixing as best as we can right now.

caution ppl, this chain is forked at the moment, though nothing serious

I suspect the pool pulled some wallets into a fork days ago. I have confirmed Cryptopia since then and they were fine, but I will verify them again right now.

http://73.160.175.22:4002/ does concur with all seednodes and nodes I have access to.

Thanks for the heads up!

EDIT: This test deposit did arrive at Cryptopia also. But yes, please use caution as desynct suggests.

some stakers are either outside or time-shifted, weight is too low imho
that puts some serious strain on mining daemons so they may lag and fork easier

EDIT:
much better now, yet the shit is still there,
zpool is hashing tons of fresh air, as if all blocks found are invalid, any explanation ?
i pm'd crackfoo, not sure if he's available on weekends...

As for the staking weight, one staking node was offline, but that has now been corrected. PoS difficulty now normalized.

PoW blocks are moving and being accepted. http://www.zpool.ca/site/block?id=1572

Seednodes with 30 connections now, which is normal. Don't let the low peer count on the explorer mislead.

Sorry for the inconveniences and thanks desynct.

EDIT: One seednode has 42 peers

EDIT 2: #notMeUS

ALL our seednodes in the CWI-SeedNode systems are stakers.

They have been offline due to the depricated hardware they are on in the datacenters. This will change this week and next. So a more solid node system soon to come from us, and continuous netweight for BERN (on of our CWI-Partner coins) inline with our own coins and partner coins alike.

Thanks to Steven for the headsup every time.

The year 2018 is a year for consumers to really understand the concept of full digital identity, and they will build a healthy and streamlined online identity. BERNcash can be better developed.

Hey guys. I'm all in. I've been looking for 'micro-cap' type tokens that just have explosive potential over the next 18 months, and this perfectly fits the bill. I'm expecting Bernie to announce another run around March 2019, which gives us about 14 months to accumulate at these crazy low prices. I'm downloading my wallet, hitting the faucet, dusting off some of my exchange accounts. Most grateful if someone can help get me up to speed to save me from reading this entire thread:

1. How does the BERNcash token help or assist Bernie's run for the Democratic nomination?
2. Besides faucet, mining, staking, and buying, are there other ways I might acquire some of these coins?
3. I don't see a white paper. Can someone point me to a link?
4. What are total tokens, and who are they held by?
5. I live on the West Coast and Bernie won my state. Happy to represent at events when the time comes. We have rural, red counties, that I'd be happy to visit. :-)
