Investigating and restarting the checkpoint server. It does and did seem to be in order. All seednodes and staking nodes concur with transactions.berncoin.org.

As mentioned in IRC, I am actively investigating to find what could be a relatively recent change and culprit to the issue. I again apologize for the inconvenience it is causing.

The project seems to have encountered some problems, and I hope you can solve some problems and difficulties, and do not fail to live up to the expectations of you.

Hilarious coin. Is it listed anywhere? I wish that Bernie could have used this to win though.

We use Cryptopia mainly, but it is listed elsewhere.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=BERN_BTC

It would be good if Bernie would use it, but highly unlikely unfortunately with todays status quo of politicians in the USA. Though Bernie is a trailblazer and creates his own path, so who knows.

How is it hilarious?

Hilarious coin.
No jokes.

Is it listed anywhere?

Which can be found in the OP or the website.

I wish that Bernie could have used this to win though.

Have a read of this thread, fellow revolutionists. While no the project was not able to help Bernie win; I think you will find an honest effort was made to help set our country on a better path. Though, who's to say what might happen in 2020? Wink #BernieWouldHaveWon

A new and much improved checkpoint server is now in place and active. New code (v1.2.4) with a new checkpoint has been pushed. A new CWI pool is syncing.

Please do not mistake the lack of activity in this thread as a lack of action. I do sincerely apologize for the recent difficulties and am trying to resolve and remove them.

Once this PoW mining situation is sorted properly, new wallets will be released and with 'easy pool mining' restored.

forked again, "Break the Big Chains" lol

EDIT: resolved, maybe it does this several times a day idk, was just passin by )

Thanks for stopping by )

You may have observed your blockchain reorganizing. This is normal and actually prevents forks from taking hold.

I see no indicator of a fork and I have confirmed Cryptopia with a test transaction.

Still eagerly awaiting the sync of the CWI pool while we investigate some registration problems.

Crackers was just now kindly asked to restart zpool's daemon via IRC. One way or another, we will get PoW blocks moving soon. Fortunately PoS blocks are keeping the chain going. Of course I am very curious if the CWI pool has the same issues or if the new and much better checkpoint server resolves the, seemingly connectivity / response time related, issue.

Rest assured, work continues. Thanks for the understanding.

yeah, but when wallet starts to take 80% of cpu for about half an hour it's not normal reorg.
i had to kill it to return to main chain

I only mentioned that because you indicated you had seemingly forked but then it was resolved. It sounded like reorg might have been the case. Sorry if I was mistaken.

A resolution to the stuck wallets / daemons continues to be investigated. I will do my best to keep the chain moving consistently until that resolution is found and released.

Thanks in advance for your understanding and continued patience.

I see in the Bern blockchain that mining is in progress. But that's not from Zpool.
Is there another pool where Bern can be mined?

Zpool appears to be stuck. I apologize for that. I am confident it will be addressed at their earliest convenience.

Some are solo mining. Difficulty has been low enough to make that advantageous the past ~48 hours.

http://ame-po01.chainworksindustries.com/bern/index.php   is still in a bit of testing, but is mining. The share difficulty is very high however, even on the low diff port (7201). Smaller hash rates will have a difficult time getting accepted shares.

Thanks for your interest and thanks in advance for mining!

its been re-syncing for a few days now... the daemon wouldn't start anymore and was stuck at a tx not found in mempool

Thanks for the info. I tried the chainworksindustries pool, but it seems that it's also not working at the moment.
Is there any chance for me foro solo mining too?
