It's better to only gamble for entertainment and deposit only what you can afford to lose. The odds are against us and we may lose but it can be a source of fun and entertainment.

It can't be said better. The source of any gambling problem is in the desire to make money with gambling. Some people lie about their profits even showing a "proof" in a form of a screenshot, but what they are not showing is how much they lost on other accounts.

Gambling is for profit and so if you just want to entertain yourself then you're better off giving that money to charity. I gamble and I win . The only problem is with gambling addiction and if people don't have specific plans before they gamble they might fall into either a short term or a long term addiction and they will keep accumulating a sequence of loses on that tangent.

It is not just money that we gamble. Everyday is a gamble in this world.
I think the real idea of gambling is for those people who have spare fiat and don't feel the fun anymore with their life.

gambling on its own is not a problem. but "addiction" to gambling is a huge problem and it is a very common one.

i think you should have discipline when it comes to gambling your money. which means setting aside a fixed amount and play around with that much. and that amount doesn't need to be huge either. it can be as small as you are comfortable with taking a  risk on.

True, gambling is not bad at all it depends on those who use it in the wrong way. We all know that addiction is bad and it is illness that need to be cure. Gambling is just for fun. But there's a limit in using gambling we need to be disciplined, we need to control ourselves to avoid addiction. I think, if you want to play gambling you should play atleast 2 times a month.

It is quite true.  Not all people who get involve to gambling are first not real gambler.  Then as time goes by they can be called real gambler because they are already time tested and really give time to gambling.  I also agree that some people uses gambling as means of relaxation while other to gain profit or money.  But the problem lies when they are unable to control the urge of gambling and get addicted.  This is where the problem starts.

Lucky for you that you did able to overcome gambling addiction and realized the things that it gives which is really devastating if you try to continue on where you would experience that nothing will be left on you. Congrats for surviving and quitting gambling. But others still hasn't realized it yet, they have to feel something to them that is worth to quit gambling for good. Like being bankrupt that you mentioned or lost something valuable in their life. Quitting is really hard if you are drown already in gambling. But if you have the motivate to get up and move your life in other direction then I would say that you can quit it for real and never comeback.

There are many people even those who have lost much but they keep playing gamble, even borrow money to others and to the bank until they be poor. They should not do that if they could control emotion in playing gambling. Actually they can stop playing a gamble but they would not for addicted gamble. That only happened to few people. I am a gambler and I dont really sell everything that I owned because I am gambling. I only prepare a small amount for me to gamble everytime, that is why I wont ended up spending what I cant afford. Playing only few hours a day wont really make you less proper sleep as well
