Most secure altcoin at the moment.

Secure by privacy? Maybe, but by functionality it is another one:

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Hii everyone, just started mining yesterday for the first time.. I have a GPU radeon RX470 4GB power colour, my total speed is around 233 H/s as shown in the attached picture. I just want to confirm that the total speed is correct for my specified GPU?? I have shown my wallet fund also because it dont seems profitable to me, and is the mining fees good?? any comments would be much appreciated..

Hello, if u start use optiminer your speed will increase to 240-250h/s in stock.
But optiminer only for Linux OS

You should be pulling closer to 340 sols - I have a few dozen rx470's that pull 337 sols but you have to fine tune the memory speed.

Zcash is a really solid coin, I used to like Monero but the pump dump was too much. This is much more solid for the long run I think. Thank you

You will see pumps and dumps in every coin. Zcash's market capitalization is pretty small when compared to Monero. So it is more susceptible to pumps and dumps. Don't let that be the determining factor.

And why the fuck would anyone do that ? If you're happy with your devs keeping secret pathway accesses to your private keys, you may make it whatever you want.Rest of the sane world is quite "NOT OKAY" with that!

P.S. : We have the most expensive cryptocurrency in the world, you know it!

Most secure altcoin at the moment.

Are you nuts or just ignorant? Every trustless coin is more secure.

I'm mining Zcash with FPGA at https://www.zcash-miner.com. Initially, it was not profitable. But, since the introduction of FPGA, price has slashed a lot. Now, it is profitable (assuming the price does not take a sharp downfall).

I would be careful with that company, no-one knows who they are. Im also not convinced they have FPGA mining, just because they say so. They haven't provided any proof.

Tried mining Z-crash, but then decided to buy in when it started going flat near $45.  Tongue I think she go fly again one day. All the merits of Bitcoin + anonymity done right.

And yet another n00b account trying to create FOMO. Go shill your scamcoin book and lies elsewhere.

ZCRAP is not trustless people, that is all you need to know.

Hi guys,

What are your thoughts on Zcash and its zero-knowledge proof construction? I've read that there are already a few big investors backing up this project.

Cheers!

In my thinking about in Zcash, I know their team is doing anything and giving effort as much as they can. Even there's a lot of negative feedback in the community still Zcash is standing. But it will be difficult for them to cope up for what they had started even they are backed by the big investors,

 Huh Huh Huh
It is impossible, as every day thousands of miner poured an incredible amount of coins at the market price.
To increase the value of this coin, you need to force the miners just hold their coins but how they can hold if at any time devs can sell a bunch of coins and price go down and keep track of it won't be possible)

Add the exaggerated value that gave this to the beginning, the truth in the short time I do not think that the price can be maintained even in this levels, How low? and  for, how long? I don´t know.

Zcash is over.
If you want make money, you must come to zclassic.

"Zclassic is a fork of Zcash 1.0.1 with minimal changes except for 2 major things.

1. 20% Founders Reward is removed.
2. Slow start is removed (blocks start at 12.5 ZCL rewards per block)."

ZCash is not over! If ZClassic were to track 10% of ZCash in a similar fashion to ETH/ETC I would be happy. I can't see ZClassic marketcap challenging zcash unless it changes it's dumb name. Everything else about ZClassic is cool, however.  Grin

They both have a Trusted Setup. Having to trust people in crypto makes no sense. In crypto you should only have to trust math. This makes Zcash and any clone of it flawed from the start.

Just had been wondering myself where to get hold on some FPGA mining informations. Reactivating some older Ztex quads. Any links pointing at binary streams or suitable software?
Those big chips had that failure tendency and been quite costly, no wounder that type of hardware nearly left ANY mining operation by now.

Be weary of any cloud mining bussinesses, even if they do pay out some early dust.

I have heard about this so called zcash the new cryptocurrency. But I don't think I'm gonna invest in new currencies for many reasons like:
Fake mining results as we recently saw onecoin got exposed and stuff so I don't think I would invest in a currency which isn't 1-2 years old.
Second I do see the price is increasing steadily but   I would rather invest in a bit more trusted altcoin like eth or maybe dash.

Just what about beeing an early adopter, getting all wealthy be beeing on it early? Hmmm?
Onecone makes a bad comparison since it isn't even legit crypto coin, more some hyip sheme.
