ethereum is not just a single bubble it is a mega bubble that bursts and then another mega bubble smaller but still big one appears until it dies out and the bubbles become smaller over time until the price is back to $2

If Ethereum is a bubble and there is no susbstance with it, then it will go to zero. If there are further developments, it will be $1000 or higher.

The Ethereum price is holding very well against the fiat after the finish of the DAO IPO. it is very surprising.

The Ethereum price is around $15 now. That is near the all time high. Is there any good news about the Ethereum?
$15 per ETH isn't good news?!?!

Yes it's a good news, but this doesn't mean ETH is not a bubble Wink

What makes Ethereum not a bubble? If the price stays around $15 for the next 3 months, then it might not be.

I think ethereum is not a bubble, because the volume of ethereum is big. If it is just bubble the volume is not too big like this. But it is just my opinion. Always there are risk on Investment.

exactly the opposite is true.
one of the indications of a bubble is the huge trade volume which has gone up suddenly. and this is true about ethereum.
the volume suddenly rose up to a big amount out of nowhere and this is because of the pump, a pump shoves the price up and others will join in (more volume) then the price goes higher and the pumpers pump it more (more volume) then other newbies join in on top (more volume) and then the dump begins (much more volume)

We shall know if the Etheruem is a bubble in a few more months. If it is a bubble, it will burst in 6 months.

So its fluctuations are controlled by a lot of users. Yeah I see that its price is really high and it is now at the top 2 in price if bitcoin is 1. So as long as buyers will stay this coin will also stay right?

Well not really. There are a lot of factors that can be noted here. Market and media for one. This activity is mainly due to users but nevertheless, they do not comprise the market alone.

Compared to the technical fundamentals of the rest of the market it's certainly overvalued by a lot.

Real value is well below this price.

You have to be a noob to not see how overbought it is but maybe they'll go even more retard on it. But in the end it'll drop long and hard.

I agree. There are a lot of cryptocurrencies with scripting capabilities. Also, there are some cryptocurrencies without scripting, but that already have useful and working hard-coded smart contracts. Admittedly, I have been on a bit of a hiatus from the community, but last time I checked nothing useful (a useful working smart contract) has come out of Ethereum. Feel free to bring me up to speed if I am wrong.  Smiley Smiley

A week ago, the Ethereum price is $20, it is $11 now. Do you think the Ethereum price bubble has popped?

It is difficult to deteremine the price or the value of Ethereum. It just suffered a big attack on the DAO.

It's not difficult to determine the value of ETH, the market decides that. And it's decided that ETH is currently undervalued. That means if it's undervalued then it makes sense to buy some for eventual profit.

The does not indicate the Ethereum is undervalued or overvalued. It think it is the right price at the moment.

When the DAO crisis is solved properly, and the future programs are written properly, the price could rise.

The problems is that if the DAO is dissolved, there will be 12 million more ethereum in criclulation. That could crash the price.

That could prevent a price bubble from forming. I am not sure what is the right price. I just hope there will be more applications.

Despite what everyone says it being a bubble.
It seems like ETH has found a solid baseline https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ethereum/usd
the price now seems to be stable and what people perceive as fair.

The price is quite solid at the moment. It seems it either has a good community support or many rich investors.

It doesnt grow way too much. It somehow stay in a price and moves just a little up or down. Bubbles move way high then popped. That is why it is also good to invest in it.
