Currently the price of LSK is based on panicked individuals not the tech behind LSK.

Ddos has occurred at the launch & because of that 90% of LSK holders could not answer their LSK so that is a good reason to be worried.

The tech behind the actually LSK is solid!
Bad launch doesn't mean LSK doesn't have working JavaScript sidechains!

yes, it's the unfortunate but inevitable catch 22 of ICO crowd funding. there had to be an escrow to promote investor confidence. the Lisk mainnet is a work in progress. it will evolve. patience people!

Because Coinmarketcap doesn't use/have the right sources yet. So the total supply is unknown for Coinmarketcap, and so is the realistic price that isn't Yobit.

its such a disastrous launch. I'm afraid this will also happen to other tokens like Waves to which its launch date is about 6 days from now.
You might as well just ride WAVES this time so its not too late still. Another train is about to go. unless they do something to prevent this.

 So who and why would someone/group DDOS Lisk on launch?

A: An investor who wanted to get their coins into an exchange first to sell high with the added option to buy back low.
B: Individual or team from another coin so investors would sell and invest in them.
C: Someone who missed out to invest in the ICO and wanted coins at a lower price or to cause harm.
D: Another exchange.

Hopefully some more info will emerge in next few days.

Disclaimer: I am guilty of buying up some cheap coins myself, and why you might ask, with the team and all the delegates, (a lot of other coins don't have that many committed people) working to bring in improvement. I am willing and betting to give it a few months, then see where we are and look forward to using the new Apps.

Why is this a scam? The dev's LISK are still untouched. The blockchain is working fine. The price is at least 3 times the ICO.

All that lacks are easy wallets, but that shouldn't be a priority.

Could it be that when you pressed 'send' that the button just became grey and it was actually never sent? You still having all your coins?

Because that happened to me yesterday. Then I used Grumlin's node, which worked fine.
