Then the delegates and the rest of this community should be aware that https is not secure enough, if at all, and should not encourage its usage.
This is a decentralized network, that anyone can run a Node on. You simply can't enforce anything like this, the best the community can do is offer advise. And believe me, there were many discussions, guides, live help, etc about security and other issues. But still... Then why not just a simple wallet based on a JS platform like Electron? Obviously most of the pretentious FUD idiots don't get Linux, Docker, etc. simple ways. Let's give them the simplest solution, just setup.exe / dmg / whatever-one-click-installer.

Lisk launch post-mortem: What went right, what went wrongYesterday, at exactly 8pm UTC, we published Lisk v0.3.0 and announced the launch of Lisk. What a launch that was! In this post-mortem we bring light to the problems we faced, explain why our web login isn’t/wasn’t accessible, and clear up misunderstandings. First of all, I’d like to apologise for the rough launch and the harm that the DDoS attack caused. Since the launch, we have been working tirelessly to ensure that all our systems are working perfectly again. We simply didn’t anticipate this overwhelming demand and trading chicanery. The only problem we still face at this moment are our web logins. The reason is the same as yesterday: huge amount of traffic and ongoing DDoS attacks. However, everything else is working very well. Users can install Lisk on various operation systems like Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. Local client installations are functional and the Lisk network is alive and healthy. The current client is aimed at technical users, but it’s relatively easy to install it with our guides. The best option is to simply use the Docker installation if you are on Windows or Mac. After we have guaranteed the network’s stability and optimised a few important Lisk modules (e.g., peer communication); we will look into options to provide a one-click Lisk client. Read our complete post-mortem now! excuse mr master "True"(or CTO or whatever you are) but you are liar... all windows users was put in the limbo from start and at final was fucked up thanks to you. you collect so much money and at final you say ddos attack? Omg all LSK start was pure failed one. much money from windows users and didn't predict docked version together with linux one? You are a joker with pink glasses - face the true. Sorry for saying this but its true... i'm pretty sure nobody forced you to use windows.

Sorry guys. The installation routine is way to complicated. Ok as a developer it is no problem, but you targeted DAUs as well with the ICO.
They have a lot of work to do. A lot. Making a more user friendly local wallet is one of them. The main problem is that even with this month long delay it simply wasn't enough time to do some things that otherwise would've been done by launch. It was unexpected how much improvement Crypti needed that was essential to do before Lisk launch, so development effort was redirected by this from other thinks like making user friendly solutions. Those of us who followed the testnet and dealt with running, testing, updating, etc the delegate nodes, it wasn't a suprise, but the opposite. We considere it a very successful launch, because the network held up, the nodes are synced, Lisk handled a great amount of transactions at launch and since then. I'm understand why ppl are angry. They expected a finished product (for some reason), that works flawlessly, yet they didn't get it, from their perspective. This could have been avoided or at least mitigated if a precise time to launch (with timer and everything) wasn't given. Ironically it also didn't help that both big altocoin exchange was ready and even pre-announced adding Lisk. I know, that it was a lot of work. I even offered help as well...

I may have some gripes, as many of you do, with the way that Lisk was rolled out yesterday BUT anyone blaming Max and/or the devs @ Lisk for causing the ddos...
...The level of ignorance and stupidity that is required to actually believe that is some Idiocracy sh*t.
Why did YoBit not let anyone make deposits until the coin had completely dropped 90%? Hours after it was active on Poloniex and Bittrex?
Take a second to think about the fact that YoBit was showing 0.01 prices even at 5pm EST yesterday and the volume was thru the roof, yet nobody could make a deposit.
Hey I share your skepticism mate. Defiantly something fishy going on yesterday but I think fairly easy to identify who had the most to gain from the obviously orchestrated DDOS. On the flip I would like to thank the whole Lisk Team who soldiered through the obviously difficult circumstances and have emerged out the other end with a stable and working main net. I particularly like theit ability to be honest about the parts that they could have done better - these things make us stronger. Thank you so much for not touching your stash too - soooo much easier to defend you guys knowing that you're in it with us for the long. I am holding all my ICO stash, I will admit that the temptation was there to sell a portion (and play with house money) when I saw Lisk at 85 pence but I have a good feeling about the fundamentals of Lisk and I am hoping that in a few months I will be very glad I have resisted the urge for safety. I hope that all my fellow ico holders will resist the urge to sell at the first sign of a pump. Together we can help push the value (and security) up and ensure that our investment pays back more than x2 or x3 like the weak hands are asking for. I don't agree that Lisk is an "Eth Killer" as some say. It's good hype, but what we all in the crypto community have to realise is that we all have soooo much to gain through cooperation and inclusively rather than isolationism and sectarianism. Why kill Eth when the world always works better with MULTIPLE OPTIONS? In crypto its the same. Moving from the Trollbox to Reddit, to BitcoinTalk, to TradingChatrooms, it pains me to see how much we all crap on each others choices, coins and hopes. I think what we need to realise is that we have so much in common with each other, far more than with the rest of the planet, the majority of which don't even know the existance of what we are involved in - let alone understand it. Whatever Crypto you are involved in (and we should all be invested in a few - though some would not admit so), we must recognise that we are all at the bleeding edge of a revolution that will totally and utterly change the way the world works. And we are in this together. When the world notices - and it is noticing - we will find enemies outside our communities that will try to deprecate or destroy what we are building. What is being created here and in every other Chain community will challenge and disrupt the status quo - and when they decide to push back we will have to be ready, as a cooperative series of communities working towards a bright future rather than a squabbling mass of fools. Peace.

I'm sure there will be one, if possible. But it's about time and resources, and they had neither before launch. They had a starting point, the crypti code. That needed a lot of improvements, that would've been managable, but when they needed to switch out the underlying database, that went out the window. This needed lot's of work, testing, optimizing. And it worth it, because it resulted in a robust backend that they can build a future on. But there are tons of stuff that they didn't have time for. Not even small stuff like doing some UI modifications. Things will happen, especially now that they have funding, but I'm sure that you know that software development takes time. They are already very far from Crypti, take a look at the Github commits.

This launch is totaly unfair for all windows users, i never saw that kind of launch in 4 years of cryto, it's a tactical scam well orchestrated
