Very interesting. I like the asynchronous aspect. I looked for more recent development on dr.ses since the paper is dated from 2013, but couldn't find anything. The paper references building on top of NodeKen which wasn't built yet at the time, https://github.com/supergillis/v8-ken , and the last commit was 5 years ago. NodeKen looks like it would be very useful for implementing distributed computing on node.js. Maybe one of the authors can reached for more information. One of them was in Brussels, close to Lisq HQ - Tom Van Cutsem, Vrije Universiteit Brussel. This could be a JS alternative to running EVM and using Solidity for smart contracts.

One of my dapp proposals, Trustament - https://forum.lisk.io/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=24 , would probably run better as a smart contract than an app, and a Solidity developer is interested in coding it for EVM, but it looks like something like dr.ses described in the paper would work as well.

It would only take a few months to resurrect and port the project to something that could run on Lisk via a network of delegates. Once Lisk has a marketplace for this stuff, it would be a fun project to take on.

So you think NodeKen could be finished in a few months? This looked like the critical missing piece to run it on multiple node.js servers. It would be great if this could be made to happen.

Given that it's a 500 BTC buy wall at 30K, looks like someone is trying to spook people into dumping into it. It would be a lot smarter to spread the buy orders over a range and not place them all at once in an accumulation strategy. This makes me think the owner of that 500 BTC wall does not want push the market up by making it clear that it can be removed at any time, and I wouldn't be surprised by a corresponding FUD campaign here and in the chat channels to try to spook people into dumping into that wall. If the wall was meant to push the price up, it would be spread out across the order book to make it look like natural demand from a lot of traders.

Thanks! It reminds me of the traditional method of harvesting buffalo by triggering a stampede to get them to run off a cliff. We'll probably see a dump pretty soon to try to trigger the stampede.

IMO we will see the price over 60k soon!

We will maybe see the 47-49k range again , but only short term!!!( don't trade at the bottom except you are a experienced day trader!!)

expect a rise over 60k, don't sell at the ~50k  range!
Don't look at the chart if you have no Idea how to trade!

This has happened to lot of coins since altcoins start to develop. LSK is in this phase. If you're not a whale or a day trader, just don't visit exchanges now and hold LSK for about 6 months. After, you will see huge profits. Your thoughts are worth and true.

They'll probably pick a time which normally has low volume in trading to try to trigger a stampede so their attempt at manipulation has more effect. The recent 30 and 50 BTC dumps may have been attempts which  fizzled. They might pull part of the buy wall at the same time as the dump to further try to panic people into dumping into what is left of it with the next dump. The constant, repetitious FUD is meant to lay the ground work by creating an unconscious feeling of fear even though the comments are laughable at the conscious level. Same as the hype and pictures of Lambos and other high end lifestyle images when they're conditioning people for a pump and dump. They seem to move from coin to coin, running them through fear and greed cycles. People act more predictably in these emotional states, yielding profit for the traders who can take advantage of them.

It all uses the kind of techniques described in the documentary on the history of psychology in advertising and propaganda, "The Century of the Self".

I wonder if there is a program available to automatically execute trades to paint the charts to look like common patterns since many traders use them? A whale with enough resources might make good money this way.
