It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I have half of my BTC on a Nano Ledger and half on an electrum wallet. At some point I will transfer them all on the Ledger. A few BTCs are always on exchanges for trades.

For now I use web wallets as I've only started learning about cryptocurrencies. I will probably buy a hardware wallet in the future if my holdings reached equivalent of 2-3 months salary because as I've read here in the forum, it is the safest.

I store Bitcoin in a wallet like coinpayments or coins.ph that contains 2 FA verification or protected by Google Authenticator. As long as there is an internet, I can manage and access to it.

You can save your bitcoin with the aid of online wallets. They are the most compatible storage for keeping a bitcoin. And also they are easy to use without any hassle.

If you have a lot of bit coins its good to take it offline by storing in a paper wallet or else a hardware wallet, but you might need a small proportion kept online to do trading as well.

Currently I save bitcoin in online wallet, but according to my friend better keep bitcoin in cold storage because it is safer. I will try to save the bitcoin in my hard wallet by purchasing the necessary equipment first.

I save bitcoin online because I also use bitcoin to trade, so it would be hard to take a bitcoin for a transaction if I do not save it online

Earlier I used to think that hardware wallets are the most secure ones out there. But recently I have heard stories from users who have lost their coins from hardware wallets, either due to carelessness or due to hacking. Therefore I have decided to keep my coins with Blockchain.info. At least I will be able to control my private keys if I keep my coins there.

This looks like a spam thread but people can see this in my last posts list for information or reference anyways.

I'm storing mine like this: Using three different wallets for different purposes.
  • I got an Electrum Wallet to hold my personal funds and
  • I Exported an address from another stored/hidden Electrum Wallet for long term Bitcoin Hodling as my Paper Wallet.
Although an offline Paper Wallet-maker can do the same.
  • Last is Coins.(ph) wallet which I do not trust for an easy Cash-out for emergencies, micro-payments and online payments.

I don't trust Coins because it wasn't really a Bitcoin Wallet, it's more like paypal and a crypto exchange mashup.
The addresses they issued was not owned by the users, those are rather "receiving addresses".

I've always felt pretty safe with my electrum and never had problems. Although I do notice the recent glitches. My ledger has been quite fantastic for storing ETH BTC AND NEO.

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

I keep my bitcoins in Bitcoin Core. This is the best place for this currency. Also I practicing withdrawing bitcoins on plastic card Visa into dollars through the platform Cex.io. These is two main ways.
