I have been using Bitcoin since June 2015 and still don't have a whole Bitcoin.

What is the fastest way to get my first Bitcoin (without purchasing one myself)!

Not surprised to hear that from a newbie, as newbies has no other source of earning bitcoin except faucets so they would probably keep it in mind that faucets are the only and the easiest way of earning a lot of bitcoins, but they don't realize that they are just wasting their time there and earning nothing compared to what others are earning, but they will realize that when they find other ways of earning bitcoins in less time.

Faucet owners plays all the month to try to get some profit around it, some close the doors offering great rewards (500 satoshis and above). There are bots taking a big part of faucet balance to them, soo with those they kill the system and the reward that could raise still the same if not decrease. I believe 0,06btc isnt soo small if you consider its free bitcoins, you dont have to pay them, sure those wont pay the cost of energy or internet, but its a source.
 The same way captcha service is  a hard source of income but you are able to make 4-10 dollars daily spending several hours at it as well, signatures the fast free way to reach the 1 bitcoin.

You can earn really into those  bitcoins faucets out there but  it would take too much time before you reach 1 btc goal because  in faucets i deos really give you small amount and  its also time consuming , im not discouraging you im just saying on what i experience with faucets, 1 btc in faucets  would be 8-10 months i guess. haha. its better to join in signature campaigns.

making 1 bitcoin for faucet users is hard. but if someone have good marketing skills, and can bring a lot of referrals he can make a good faucet list and can easily make 1 bitcoin with referrals, even faucets paying less but still a lot of people using bitcoin and lot of people still coming to start using faucet, so bringing referral on faucet sites is not that hard, just need some time and efforts, and of course need to choose best faucets.

no. long term is always right choice if someone can keep patient. bitcoin is the biggest example of it itself,
for example if you hold bitcoin for long time you'll be probably in profit. and instead of this there is a lot of long term but profitable works.

I agree, getting a whole bitcoin is difficult because every investments or way to grow it has its own risks. For me holding your bitcoin will make it much more longer, i would rather take risks to grow my bitcoin. But not in hyip's or ponzis out there but in altcoin trading. With the amount that i earn from signature campaigns, i think it is possible to get my first whole bitcoin in a year through altcoin trading.
