For the type of order in the trade history, that doesnt really make sense.. because you can't have a BUY without a SELL.. its a "trade", ie, one person is selling and another it buying a certain number of units at a certain rate. The "type" for every trade is both a buy AND a sell.
I guess publio wanted to know if the trade was based on someone buying into an existing order, or selling into an existing order. This would certainly be informative, although anyone keeping a reasonable track of the order book can figure it our anyway (one good thing about the relatively low liquidity).

feature request: my orders are nicely highlighted in the public order book. I keep wanting to click them in order to cancel them. Maybe it could be a link that doesn't directly cancel the order, but flashed a little popup asking wether I want to cancel the order (or even a context menu that allow even more stuff, but I think cancel would be best).
Such a shortcut would make the site even more pleasurable to use.

A feature request:
Show number of units owned on the "order book" page. The way it is now, the BTC balance is in the upper right as usual, and may be useful when placing a buy order. For sell orders, on the other hand, we have to rely on memory. If I enter the bigger number than what's available, I get a warning in red, and have to start all over again. Ouch.

I've been using Havelock (and their bitcoin buy/sell service) for several months, and have been thoroughly impressed with both ease of use and speed of response to requests for info or clarification on something. I've yet to have a problem or issue with any of my transactions. They rock.
Next time i'm in ottawa, I hope to be able to stop by and say "howdy, eh!"

We have just released Phase 1 of our API for open beta testing. It includes access to read-only data, such as ticker data, account balances, and portfolio information. More functionality to come later, but I wanted to get the beginnings out there so people could start using and testing it and start creating their interfaces and bots!

I don't object to bots. I just hate it when one of them constantly places orders just below/above mine. I've been quite successful on havelock placing best ask/bid. Made myself some money trading back and forth like that.

Are you planning to implement a split-adjusted stock price graph or are you just going to leave the "PLEASE NOTE: HIM SPLIT 1:10 ON MARCH 1, 2013" up until the split ages off the 90 day chart (or longer)?

TAT Investments is happy to announce that ASICMINER shares are finally available within the Havelock Investments website! Shares will be released in small waves at https://www.havelockinvestments.com/order.php?symbol=ASICM at fixed prices, so if you see them sold out for some reason, just wait a little bit and I'll post more. ------ ASICM represents a passthrough asset of fractional shares of the ASICMINER Mining Company. ASICMINER is a market leader in the bitcoin mining industry, creating various mining equipment for sale, as well as running their own mining farm. Proceeds from ASICMINER mining farm and from the sale of equipment are distributed to shareholders as weekly dividends. This asset represents fractional passthrough shares of the underlying asset, receiving a proportional amount of dividends for each share. ASICM, an ASICMINER Fractional Passthru managed by TAT Investments
Each 1 share of ASICM represents 1/100th of a share of ASICMINER maintained and verified by either Friedcat or any officially designated exchange, and has rights to 1/100th of the dividends of a whole ASICMINER share.
This is asset is being offered for the following purposes: 1. To provide an additional venue for investors to buy or sell ASICMINER shares more easily by splitting the shares. 2. To provide an easy way for ASICMINER shareholders to reinvest their dividends to maximize compounded interest opportunities. 3. To consolidate enough ASICMINER shares so as to reach 5,000 whole shares, thus increasing their inherent value with potential access to ASICMINER’s established and future board member benefits, namely any hardware opportunities ASICMINER provides exclusively to board members.

Having issues transferring funds to Canadianbitcoins from Havelock as the Hot wallet is empty There are insufficient funds in the Hot Wallet to process your withdraw. The site operators have been notified of your request and will move Bitcoins from Cold Storage. Please try your withdraw again after 1 full business day. Just a heads up will wait try again later EDIT Thanks for the fast fix as always excellent customer service

Two typo's on the main page of Havelock. Under Trading fees: "Effetive June 1st, 2013." Under News: "Nov 27, Bitoin Magazine" Typo's look a bit sloppy, may scare some ppl away. Easily made but also easily fixed.

James I was wondering if fees can be transitioned based on total trade activity for high volume trading Btct has a fee of 0.2% on the sell side and the buyside for 2-FA and Havelock will have 0.4% on the sell side and 0 on the buy-side So it does match the competition and is far better than bitfunder's but an incentive might attract more investors Thanks for the info Also been a while since the FAQ's been put on the main-page but probally would be useful to add to it although the fee page works too https://www.havelockinvestments.com/faq.phpNice new interface last 60 seconds of order information is nice Instant Execution is interesting as well Was wondering if there was a list of the new changes
