Now check the block height with the explorers. The explorer refreshes completely every 2 minutes, so you may see a little difference in block heights.

Methods to obtain:

Distribution will be achieved through many ways.

1. All player accounts on BetterBets.io who have wagered over 1 BTC in volume will earn coins. For every 1 BTC in previously wagered volume per account you will receive 20 Rubies. For

i like this concept, the only thing for me is that a user will need to bet mininum 1btc to even touch a rubie ;\
for small time gamblers (me) and especially those in countries where btc is worth more this could be a high entry-point
(btc is almost double value in my country, currently just under 600$ per coin)
maybe a scaling system where users could earn AS they bet? chop up the 30 rubies into where every 0.033ishBTC  1RBIE is rewarded?

Well the Bet-Mining is volume based, so you just have to wager the equivalent of 1 BTC of volume to unlock 30 Rubies for you to play or withdraw them. I've seen people take 0.001 or 0.0045 btc and make 1-4 BTC of volume. It's really just volume that you need to do, and some strategies will make this relatively easy for players.

Please play conservatively while we build the ecosystem around Rubies and markets etc. Staking is a solid option for now.

Our site is offering investment with revenue dividends as well in the Stakeholder option which we felt would create strength from long term holders. We do not expect or want people to gamble them all, it just gives an instant use-case for Rubies, and provides a vehicle of coin distribution at the start. Over 3000 people from the digital currency community already own Rubies and once they see this has launched then the rest of the ecosystem should follow.

As for other uses, they like any currency, can be integrated into businesses and other casinos as a store of value.
