it seems like it's so easy for people to get away with scams.  These aren't trivial amounts either that we're talking about.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

bump.

message sent to bitbond demanding either dividends paid now or refund of 47.5 BTC (purchase price of my bonds)

how is this not marked yet? if i default on a 1 btc loan i would be marked within hours.

if i setup a bond. raised tens of thousands and disappeared nothing would happen

will start my own thread and start bumping this thread hourly if i am not paid within 24 hours

Yeah. The BTC-sphere is like in the meatspace: you may be punished just for pennies, but if you scam really big time you become Too Big To Jail. Learn the lesson and don't trust anyone ever more, especially the big fat fishes with super-hero rep.

I found this on https://cryptostocks.com/securities/29

He just waiting for 06 dec 2013, so that all bonds expire & he don't have to pay any one anything.

It seems mods encouraging amazingrando to scam, by not giving scammer tag.

I've also noticed that on GLBSE amazingrando was verified issuer - had a lot of onformation confirmed by exchange, like address, id, etc. But on the CryptoStocks he don't hurry to submit info for verification. It kinda red flag for me. Seems we all was f*d up.

Anyone here have screenshots with BITBOND prices near the GLBSE collapse? Or maybe issuer's info?

Thinking this and my thread need to be brought up in "meta"

Seems to be a forum staff issue when owners of contracts that are clearly being broken are immune from labeling

Seems like a case of conspiracy with the large bondholders and Rando to rip off the rest. "Fuck you I got mine"

He still hasn't contacted anybody? He said he would be contacting his shareholders by email, did he do that?

I just came to know that theymos didn't aware of bitbond scams.
Due to lots of scams happening, its possible for any one to miss 1 or 2 scams.

I PMed theymos with some of bitbond posts & i cant able to find the Original posts which pin points what amazingrando did/doing.
If anyone can make brief report with amazingrando posts, please PM it to theymos.

This is my PM to theymos.

Regarding dividends for the period between GLBSE closure and now, the plan is still evolving.  The vast majority of bonds (85%) are held by a small group of investors.  Their buy-in of bonds came with additional requirements and legal contracts that have required that I pay their payouts before other parties.  They have been paid all coupon payments going back to the GLBSE closure.

For those of you who constitute the remaining 15%, the earnings from GLBSE closure is not lost.  I am working on a plan that will give you a few options including payouts, buyback, and ASIC upgrade.  I hope to share details of that this weekend.

Regarding coupon payments since GLBSE closed, 85% has been paid to the largest investors (working from largest bondholder down).  I would like to be able to pay the remaining 15% immediately, but doing so would mean canceling our ASIC pre-order and losing the pre-order slot.

"October 5th through block reward halving on November 28, 2012, BITBOND paid out all payouts to the majority bondholders (the “85%”)."

I don't buy it. I sent a pm With links to both scam accusation threads and bitbonds short lived / now locked plans thread. No reply received.

Unless he is not watching this sub forum (two threads one has been around quite awhile) and not reading pms

If it really is being too busy it sounds like more people need to have access to do this to help him

Since he disappeared from 1 month+ and does not answer to PM, it is now for sure that he is a scammer, so his portrait is back up to stay:
