Depends on if you pay monthly VPS, or host VPS yourself.  To configure node though you need single address with 25,000 BSD in 1 transaction.

So you only need it once for that transaction? It's not like you'll lose it?

You rent a server for 5$/MO and lock 25k as collateral.
While collateral is on place - masternode is working.
You can quit anytime - coins are still on your wallet.
Configuration is pretty easy - look for the guide and server-installation script on github.
If there's any problems - contact me.

Yes and 25k BSD stays in masternode address while node is running.  Node payouts will go to same address.  You can move funds, but if you go under 25k BSD node stops.

I wish I had 25k, but I don't. Thanks for explaining it to me. Smiley

*Reminder*

Never give anyone access to your coins, wallet, or server when trying to set up your masternode!

Please be weary of this when asking around the community for help.

If you'd like one-on-one help, you can use setupmasternodes.com's services as a SECOND OPTION. Ask around the community first.

nice reminder   Smiley

but why on earth, anybody would use setupmasternodes, that demands $50 in advance to fund setup service Huh, instead of well-established mn hosting services, like nodeshare or node-vps,
you pay them only for the node hosting, ca $$6-9 monthly, that's all.

They have not ruled out that there will be a new BSD campaign. The new BTX campaign is already confirmed. Maybe it will be BSDs turn after this one ends.

Might be useful to people that are clueless about linux and/or can't be bothered setting up the nodes themselves. It is a service and needs to be paid like any other.

What is the correct price for this coin?

i think its way undervalued now

For me personally,  I would  attributed to  BSD  reputation as a safe haven during troubled times. The last dips on market support my view. BSD didn't fall too much compared to BTC and ETH. Masternodes and  the most reliable blockchain do their work.

So your vision is bitsend/BTC price is not gonna up in the comming months, if bitcoin and other coins gonna explode?

Looks like this coin only gets attention from pump and dump groups and then no big investors are interested
