I was just about searching the same information before opening a similar thread, but I have found your one useful enough not to make another one. It contains some data, I have not even thought of. Thank you! Saved in bookmarks.

Hello all, I am first time here and if I post wrong please apologize and help me how I can proceed. blockchain steal from me money and don`t want to respond me anymore. Because I opened some tickets on their zendesk about their API latency they suspend my account on zendesk and my last transactions from them dosen t enter anymore in my wallet. I contact them through another zendesk account and they block me again without telling me nothing. I make another zendesk account and I promise them that I will make reports and I will write on forums about their services and because they suspend my account I don`t understand why and why I didn t receive my money, they answer me only this, "You violated our TOS and you are no longer our client". But for what? and in any case you don t need to inform when happen this? and my transactions that i didn t receive whats happen? I have many clients who pay through blockchain API with shortcodes from btcaddr.es and before I can inform them all about the problem and I will change the payment method they will send transactions, what happened with that money? is it normal that they proceed like this and don`t want to answer me anymore with any detail?

As far as buying bitcoins from an untrusted stranger, the risk of double spending (due to either a Race attack or a Finney attack) is significant enough to require at least one confirmation (or a Green address transfer or a service such as a LocalBitcoins "Transaction" where the funds released to the buyer would always be already-confirmed funds). It is very good experience that you shared with us about doing local transactions, Like what you said is not only checking the place of transaction but we should also be knowing the knowledge of most exchages , like which exchages are good for transactions. In my experience i trade in local transactions but its a worth only some times its a danger once i got cheated in my local transactions few months back i sold some btc worth 30$ but they payed me in local currency INR but that currency is Fake... so before selling trade with carefully
What you told is right but in your case you should be having the knowledge of how to find the fake currency, because when you deal with them not only place or location but you should also have knowledge of fake currency.

Thank you for providing this.
Might I also suggest that if you do trade in a mall, I prefer to go inside a bank and do it, as the banks have more security than a mall.

banks will kick you out if they know that you are using bitcoin i don't have any issue about that users of bitcoin are not allowed to their banks, and it think they can do that because they need a customer and if they not accept you they lose 1 customer.
