Another thing pointing to the fact that binary options etc is gambling is that they have an affiliate industry and bonus system that works exactly the same as for the established online casinos. We haven't seen that yet in the Bitcoin world, but they will probably start havinf "deposit bonuses" and affiliate revenue share deals at some point.

Yup. From my perspective, trading bitcoin or alts can be considered as gambling. When i trade i am researching coins same as some sports gambler research football teams. In both cases it is gamble if you dont have some reliable insider info.

If your planning for quick profits from trading means by day trading than trading is almost equal to gambling. But if you just buy coins and keep it for price appreciation than it is not gambling because in gambling you will lose all your money in one shot but in long term trading you will get a chance to take out some portion of your money or you can make some decent profits.

Trading is some sort of a gamble too because you are not sure where the trades will go. But, there can be signal to which it may actually go. So in my opinion, trading is not a pure gamble because you have calculated risk and there is a higher chance that you can win. If you study enough, read news and know how to read charts, you can be able to predict the right trade to make. In gambling, everything is left to chance.

Trading is much better. There is a higher chance that you can make more money with trading than gambling.
You waste a lot of money with gambling and that is very bad. You must be lucky in gambling and you must be smart with trading.
if you think back trading is very different from the gambling, and you're right, trading is still much better, because you can develop a strategy to be profitable, in contrast to gamble just rely on luck

Somehow besides luck you can use a good strategy too in gambling but for sure with enough balance to cover it, if wrong setting I think you will lose that in instant but if it works I think you will able to earn a lot too for instant. But trading is a slowly profit but the method to earn profit is almost the same as gambling because in trading we wait for some huge pump and then sell it so you will get profit. Same to gambling too we wait the exact number to comeout then we get the profit, basically both trading and gambling are the same thing, it just uses different method to gain profit
Trading is much better than gambling. You also can earn some more money with gambling. And with gambling you will lose more money than you win money.
So that is not good. People gamble because they like it to do and that is very bad. Their money is all wasted.

Trading is also a gambling for you are risking your money without knowing that you may profit or not.
As trading, currency tends to drop and rise every second you wont know if you can profit from what you are trading.

I think trading Bitcoin at the moment is like the finest epitome of gambling because the price is fluctuating up and down literally every few minutes it's insane  Grin Good luck making solid profit trading right now.

Trading is so much better than gambling. You can earn more money with trading so that is pretty good.
I hope later that more people will realize that gambling is very bad to do and that they must stop with it or just play with small amounts.

Trading is gambling unless you're big, smart or illegal enough to manipulate the market. This means that for everyone that reads the gambling section of an Internet forum, trading == gambling.
I think if you have big money You can manipulate the price for specific markets.
for bitcoin market of course you need a larger money because bitcoin is also a very large market. altcoin may only market that maybe you can manipulate. maybe it's not gambling

trading does not look more fun than gambling, but on the other hand trades is still better than gambling, because of trading we can benefit by analyzing the price, in contrast to gamble more hope to luck, like in a game of dice

I think trading and gambling on sport are two very different things. Betting is pure gambling but in trading user may know the prediction. As Forex Trading already made simple by SimpleFX by allowing to trade with bitcoins directly and anonymously. As well as In Binary also IDS Option gives this amazing facility to trade with bitcoins on Binary Option.

so don't just focus on monitoring it every few minutes, try analizing bitcoin price in wider ranges of time like months, quarters, years, decades,...

I think trading is much better than gambling. the chance with trading to lose some money is much smaller with gambling.
Gambling is only for fun and trading is to make some money and that is quite good. Gambling is very bad to do.

I also support trading more than gambling. But gambling i think maybe more profitable than trading. In gambling, we have many chances of loss of our amount. Mostly people like gambling than trading. Since trading is already is so much low now-a-day, people are not getting interest in trading. When price will go up, trading will also became more.So we have to wait to go the price up for better trading !  Smiley

I feel like if you are just buying coins to holding for long term that is more investing.  Its just then you will have good investors and bad investors.  End of the day you can make a case for all these words to be used in whatever context.  You cant really live life without gambling even by breathing you hope to get air and by crossing the street you hope to not get run over.  Both outcomes aren't 100% certain.

If I'm very honest I see trading as gambling not because its risky but it also looks like you are betting on something.
Of course it depends on how you trade also but my conclusion is that you can consider it as gambling for sure.
