What is the minimum amount to start as a trader?

You can try your luck on Yobit with as low as 10k sats but you can't deposit less than 0.002 on the site. If you can afford to lose that amount you should try it for getting some experience at least, but first you should say good bye to your money and if you feel that you are okay with that than try to trade, why not.

That is right, and this is also the advice I give to a new trader. Just try in small amounts,if you lose never mind but do not lose the lesson. The best way to learn trading is by doing it yourself. Build confidence.
Wow coming from my guider before yes experience would be the big help learning the trade and you are already inside the forum so everything else you need would be searchable here..

On Yobit the minimum for one transaction is as little as 10Ksatoshi.
You can start trading with this menony to test your skill and be safe from loosing big bucks.
But with this little money ,you cann't earn much money!

I would suggest you to try with localbitcoins, I agree that you need more amount to have trade in lbc. But you could win successfully in lbc because everyday you can find the trade beyond you trade limits.

you could always   start a small amount   on  doing trading  at the first time  on the amount of  0.01 btc and  there are  exchanges  that do   have cheap  coins . It ideal to make some practice and   observation while you are trading . Learning  process would  be  long for sure because   trading is  not  easy as  it sounds  you would really need  some  effort and  skills  to be profitable  on it.

As long as you can afford that amount you can always start to trade, you will understand that it's fun to trade especially if that is your interest. You will learn a lot when you use your mind rather than your heart. Your move should be properly calculated and you can do that by properly analyzing the trend.

I think there is no minimum amount to start trading. When i started trading, i started with only 0.001 from my earnings in hyips because i was also new to bitcoin that time. I didn't know about this forum. But right now my total earnings in trading is almost 1 btc with the help of signature campaign earnings as my capital to do trading.

The is always a minimum cause it there's none you ca trade with 1 sat. it's just good that some trading sites only require a lower minimum so more people can participate and I like the idea because they are willing to help us as well to be master in trading.

I don't think there's a minimum amount to start trading at all, you just have to at least be able to keep up with the minimum transaction amount in the altcoin exchanger. But the smaller your capital is, the slower your money will grow and the smaller your profit will be.

You can always buy some bitcoins from exchanger if you don't want to start small. However, if you start small, once you start to get a lot of profit from trading, you can look back and be proud that you started from a really small amount.

That's for sure and the purpose only of starting a smaller amount is just to try and to learn at the same time. When you mature in trading, that would be the time to get serious and put a decent amount of capital to be able to earn profit as you desired.

in fact you can start playing trading with very small amounts. however, to get a good profit I think you need capital of 0.05 - 0.1 BTC. well, that was the first thing I do to play altcoin trading. I divide my be 0:02 BTC BTC for every 1 coin that I use to play trading, and it was all very well to learn trading and even make a profit

I believe 0.1 bitcoins itself very small amount to get start with altcoin trading as we need to trade with decent volume to make enough profits for the time we are spending for researches and technical analysis.

It is really nice to know that you are making enough profits with your capital of 0.02 bitcoins.
I like to know how much time you are spending for your analysis and trading and how much profits you are making from one particular trade.

yes that is a fact that there is no limit of investment in alt coin, you can do trading with any amount, if you have some sathoshi still you can invest it in alt coin and if the price go high you ca really make good profit.

No one should invest a huge ammount expecting to make a huge profit, usually this turns into some profit when it doesnt turn into a big loss, thats why first learn and know the market, see the max and minimum price of those altcoin, and just invest if you have sure, dont follow others sugestions, make your own rules to sucess.

As you can see from most of the answers, you can start as low as 10,000 satoshi - now to me, that is the soundest advice you can take from anyone starting out as a trader. Learn the markets, learn the events and how they affect movements - most importantly, learn about your own behaviours as a trader.

Don't take the advice of min 1-2 BTC. Not until you're serious!
Once you're comfortable with trading then you trade with a bigger bankroll, and always to the amount you're comfortable to do without!

BTW, a broker with higher leverage means your small amount can be used to buy more than its actual value, so use that to your advantage...

Yeah and initially its good to start with a small capital to minimize risks and there is no limit in trading you can start even with a very little amount but the only issue is that if you invest small capital then even your profits will be small and you will actually not feel the profits if you are going with a smaller amount.

I think knowledge and experience are actually the capital in trading and your earnings will not always depend on how much money you put into it. As long as you can buy 3-5 different altcoins, you can start trading. It's not that much of a capital. They always say to start small if you want to succeed at something and I think that's applicable in trading too. Start small and once you're experienced enough, you can start risking greater amount of money.

But with this little money ,you cann't earn much money!

With 10k satoshi you don't earn or lose big money so I think that it doesn't worth trading with 10k satoshi.

If a newbie wants to start trading then it's ok to experiment with 10k satoshi and understand how trading works.

But if you really want to see a difference when you trade then I would suggest to start with minimum 0.1.

You can start with the amount of 0.01 btc if you're a complete newbie, Better trade with the amount that you can afford to lose.
To avoid losing the 0.01 btc.  It is important to study about trading first but after all practical knowledge is the best so try and try.

This is exactly a newcomer to be alert to the possibility that he might lose these savings. But he will get experience. Although negative, but an experience.
