Oh, a few more usability quirks, while I'm at it: When looking at a ticket, the "order by draw" text in the upper-right of the list of draws played looks like it should be clickable (and shows a pointer cursor on hover), but doesn't do anything for me in Chrome. I presume it would enable you to sort the draws by winning amount (which would be awesome)? The same thing for the list of tickets on a draw detail page. Also, the little arrow next to the "order by draw" is different on the draw pages (solid arrow, pointing down) and the ticket pages (chevron pointing right); might want to harmonize those? In your header, on the home page, there's a BitMillions logo that links back to the home page (useless; you're already on the home page), but on all other pages, the header is replaced to have the purchase address take up the majority of the space, and the logo is removed. The only link to the home page is then at the bottom of the page, in the footer. I've found myself multiple times mousing over the header looking for somewhere to click to go home, and then remembering it's at the bottom and having to scroll there. Maybe put some sort of "home" link in the header on internal pages, as that's a common user interface methodology?

Just wanted to comment on a great design for your site, ShaTwo; I played a few times and really enjoy the feel of having a real "ticket" showing my bets. As a web designer/developer myself, I appreciate the design; Kudos!
Thanks midnightlightning! We worked hard on the design! A few suggestions, though, from me as a designer (if you don't mind): One design choice I'd change is the style of the "Ticket Total Wins" header: to me the gold coloring doesn't make that line pop, and that's a line that I really want to see at a glance. Everywhere else on the site, gold/tan is a background color, which may be why it looks diminished to me. Plus it's very close to the orange used by the "profit button" on each ticket/draw when the bet was lost. Would you consider changing it either to green to match the color of a winning "profit button" or red (matching the "with this luck..." line beneath it) to really pop? Also, what's the meaning behind the gold coin that's used next to the "Total Ticket Wins" header? I'm not sure what the imagery is in the middle of the gold coin; is that a cross? Or scales? Is there a reason it's not a Bitcoin "coin" like the coins used on the pool size table on the home page? And the blue "Lotto" logo that's used on the detail page of any draw; was that left over from an earlier design? You have no blue anywhere else on the site, and the two "o"s in that logo look like they are two parts that combined into your current logo. I totally agree! By the way the Lotto Logo you mention was an option to replace the Gold Coin you mention... I also didn't like that header at all, but since we already we a few weeks behing schedule, we decided to launch anyways and change it latter... but that "latter" became longer that I thought. And finally, I agree with the comment that the display of the current jackpot size is misleading. Currently the big red box at the top of the site reads 1281.0461, but below it on the home page, pool 4 shows 1,245.0662 (and 35.66749 for three, and 0.312348 for two). If you add up the current pools 2, 3 and 4, you get the total in the red box. However, since the winner only takes 50%, I'd really like to see the red box show 640.5230 in that case, as that's the true winning jackpot at the moment. The listing of the pool sizes on the home page can stay as they are, since you have right beneath it that 50% of the pool is retained, but maybe have a separate table for "what you'd win right now if you matched 2, 3, or 4 numbers", which would show 640.5230, 17.9899, and 0.1562 respectively. Having the "current pool" and "you win this amount" tables combined isn't accurate and rather misleading.
I totally understand your point, but when looking at any lottery site in the world, they all present it on the same way... so I honestly taked as a standard way to do it. Great site, and great responses to feedback in the forum, keep up the great work!
Thanks

One suggestion: How about paying out affiliate payments once it reaches 0.01? Creates quite a bit of small dust, and you're spending a lot in TX fees

fun game, I like the constant trickle of payouts during the whole day too... makes for a surprise when my phone vibrates with a win.
however, I do wish the house edge could be a bit lower - 8% is too high for me to play as much as I did on satoshidice. I think 3-5% would be more reasonable for a game where the running costs are very low now the site is up, especially if you want to increase volume to the levels of satoshidice.
Just my 2c.

Part of that is just the nature of lottories, really large wins for a low price, but also a large house edge. I actually really like bitmillions compared to my regional lotteries because the cost is similar and the payouts are higher. For example the chance of winning anything on a well know Canadian lottery, lotto 6/49, is 1 in 32.8!

I'm curious, how do you deal with orphan blocks? Do you consider it to be a valid block for your draw as well?

Same as Bitcoin-QT does, when we receive a Block ( from Bitcoin-Qt ) we Twit, determine the winning numbers and process plays. If for some reason there is a correction on the Blockchain, we remove the invalid block, the plays for the invalid block and proceed to re-process the new valid block. That is the reason why we wait for 6 confirmations before send a payment.

Doesn't seem like many people are playing here anymore. When it started, you'd see 8-16 draws per block, now, it seems sightings of even 1 draw per block are few and far between.

Let's say someone bought a ticket for one draw and wait until the draw occur too see the result and let's say the ticket won the jackpot for 4 hits, if the player don't have in mind that the block can become orphaned later, he probably will be disappointed and maybe angry by the fact he wasn't warned that the results can be reprocessed. And this can lead him not play here anymore.

Hey, I just read the pool thingy, and it says "50% retain for future draws", does this mean that in example, I win 1400 BTC and only get 700BTC? That's really quite a big percentage.

yes, this is done this way as, if anyone won the biggest jackpot, no one else will be interested in playing it anymore. The only problem is that they are inducing you to think that you can win all the jackpot at once.

The only problem is that they are inducing you to think that you can win all the jackpot at once. That's silly. Then 1,400BTC's isn't the jackpot, but 700BTC is the jackpot, this should be changed IMO.
