This project looks so damn promising. lol but looks like it got ahead of itself a little bit. That or too many people over loaded the system with transactions and the exchanges weren't ready to handle it. Im still going to invest though cause I have seen these same issues with every crypto when they go through their first scaling phase. Seen it with ETH, BTC, IOTA. Stop believing the FUD and just HODL people please jesus fuck.

Has anyone been able to sync the FUCKING DESKTOP WALLET?
have you tried manual sync? https://www.reddit.com/r/RaiBlocks/wiki/indexIf you have a HDD, it's going to take several days regardless of your internet connection. If you have an SSD and an OK internet connection, a few hours to a day or 2. so the best way to sync desktop wallet is using manual sync. I tried manual sync and it did not work I suspect because the data file was for version 8 while the new wallet is version 9. Instead of advancing in block count it would go up and down not gaining any ground. I have an SDD and still not sync in 2 days. Is the rebranding true? On Reddit there were screenshots of Raiblocks renamed to Nano. Some say this will be good for Raiblocks since it is more easy to remember than Rai.
Also, I can't wait for Binance to add Raiblocks. XRB needs a better exchange. Keep trading guys, the volume will attract those exchanges.....early days, still early days.

To all newcomers to Raiblocks
If you are new to Bitcointalk you may not realize how things work around here. Ask yourself this - why would someone who states that Raiblocks is crap/a pump and dump/full of flaws, etc. keep coming on here posting the same thing over and over again even though it has already been addressed numerous times before? Because they care about noobs and want to protect them from the big bad Raiblocks dev stealing their money? LOL, I think not.
There are 3 reasons for these FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) posts:
1) Usually the person posting the FUD is actually holding the coin they are bashing - they make negative posts in an attempt to drive down the price so they can buy more.
2) They may also be holding a competing coin (IOTA for example) and they are angry that another coin has taken the spotlight away from them. You can spot people in this group as they will often have a signature advertising another coin or they will shill it directly in their post.
3) Pure saltiness. This forum has really gone downhill over the years and it is now filled with desperate, salty children who are angry that they missed the boat.
The world is full of toxic people who cannot accomplish anything on their own so they try to make themselves feel better by attacking other people's accomplishments. Ignore them and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!

Maybe the devs can ask binance to keep an eye out for funds coming out of Mercatox wallet while its in maintenance ? They had second biggest volume and im sure there is still a lot of XRB stuck in there with their bullshit withdrawl limits. Its a small volume exchange that had more activity then they ever had now that they might lose it all to binance they might want to rippoff their customers and then dump the ill gotten gains.

People don't realize that not even a couple of months ago Raiblocks was trading just tens of thousands a day on Bitgrail and Mercatox. Now volume has even reached 100m on some days! That kind of explosive growth in that short of a time period has NEVER been seen in crypto before! That should tell everyone the potential of this project. We just need to be patient and wait for Kucoin and/or Binance. Mark my words, when XRB hits Binance there might be a sell off but it will not last and then XRB will be going to new highs. $50 will not be a problem, most likely much, much more |
