Can someone explain to me the reasons why NANO had such a rise from mid December 2017 to mid January 2018?
Don't want to read hundreds of sites in this thread...

It's like any other coin price rise or drop,at some point for some reason money is start to flow and price is rise up.I guess some people have information that something good will happen with Nano(RaiBlocks) and they start to buying that coin on exchange.When others see that price is rise more then 10 times in 10 days(from 0.4$ to 4$) pumping price is start and it is finished at 34.42$ on Jan 5. The reasons are probably new development of wallets(desktop,mobile) and rebranding in combination with great optimism among users in time of extreme high fees that happens at that time in BTC network.Nano on the other side have no fee and it should be instant in transaction. Thank you! :-) |

The regulations of China and the USA are already arriving, it is the end of the coins without control, in a few days it is approved here in USA the control and the management of them. Nano will reach $ 2 or $ 3 and there it will stay. I have already warned you "Nano" guys and they do not listen to me, keep dreaming that one day it will reach $ 50 ..hahahahaha idiOts
CFTC of USA does not have any plans to regulate crypto or restrict it, maybe later. They are just trying to fight against scammers, nothing else. and that´s the best thing that could happen to us |

I hope you guys are taking advantage of these $NANO prices. I know it's sounds redundant, but it's true. $NANO is too valuable, and at these prices..it's like Christmas up in here.
You should not only take advantage of the Nano price but go get some other altcoins too, I'd recommend got get some NEO and Electronium. NEO as it has a great long term future and Electronium as it's really very cheap just now and is one-to-watch. |

Hopefully they'll keep it up. I don't like Electroneum. I wouldn't buy it if it were free.  |

https://nanowallet.io/ is the new website, when re-branding happened domain was changed. Try to use some other wallet tho that lets you in charge of your key so you don't encounter similar situations n the future, anyway you old account should be working fine. |

Nano needs a solid desktop wallet. Currently i am using nanowallet.io and i would still prefer to own my keys. |

I have to agree with you, lately nano is the only cryptocurrency that's been giving me a lot of profits. I've been trading nano back and forth for three days now and so far it's been really helping me increase my gains. I really hope so, I really hope nano could break the resistance, it's been trying to break the resistance for I think days now but unfortunately there isn't enough volume but I hope by next week we can finally break the resistance and maybe reach a price higher than 150k. I think a new partnership or a very big update could really help us break the resistance and reach another all time high. |

There are almost 10,000 testers from all around the world helping me to fix the final few bugs and I’m really appreciative of everyone who’s left feedback or sent Nano back and forth with friends or other community members to kick the tires on the wallet. I just sent out the latest batch of 2,000 invites, build 35, release candidate (RC) 4. This one fixed two crashes related to QR code scanning and local currency conversion. Assuming nothing new and major, I’m hoping it’s one of the last RC builds! Next steps will be: Submit to Apple Get approved and open source the code on GitHub Start getting the community involved in fixing bugs and building features Publicly publish the roadmaps specifically for iOS, Android and Desktop so those who want to help out, can. Frequently requested features like Address Book integration are definitely coming in the near future. I want to build it in a non-centralized way so that no single database anywhere has everyone’s phone/email/nano address.
