Why Ripple Thinks Coinbase Should Add Cryptocurrency XRP

Coinbase has said that it will only trade cryptocurrencies that have been deemed by regulators not to be securities, a designation that could require exchanges to obtain additional licenses and approvals.

But exchanges seem to be waiting for regulators to clarify XRP’s status before deciding whether to allow it on to their platforms. Last week, trading company itBit received approval from New York regulators to add Stellar Lumens—a cryptocurrency created by a founder of Ripple—to its exchange, but has not yet sought clearance for XRP.

i'm not sure Coinbase will be needed in the long run, it can give a boost to the price short term, but long term should not matter at all.

Sorry but I am pessimistic about the price. Look at the chart and you will see that it increased x20 last year in May and then dropped back again in 6 months. Price of ripple increased again x20 in December-January and now it is in falling trend and I expect it drop down to initial price. Every increase is a selling opportunity until it finds the dip.

You're right, you need to sell this coin. And you should not save it, because it does not fit the idea of decentralization, while the bulk of this asset is in the hands of the creators, it can not be considered decentralized and highly subject to various manipulations.

Last year we were talking about 10 USD for ripple now in crash ripple suffered much from 3 USD to 0.5 USD . But like last year pump upto x10 from 0.28 to 3 USD it can again surprise us in next bull rally . so keep buying ripple in dip . then just wait for bull rally of 2018 in november-december .

All cryptocurrency suffer from the bearish market and ripple seems to be a nice altcoin but the fact that it was a centralized coin won't make most investors to invest in it which is the reason why it barely pass the $3 price range.

As the price of bitcoin declined affecting more on alt coins' value like ripple. I believe that ripple will still have a good progress this year even though we only have 2 quarters left for this year because as i can see on the graph, cryptos begin to rise on the fourth quarter of the year.

I really don't think ripple has much of a future at this point.  It will probably never get back to the all time high of 3 dollars and a lot of people are starting to realize ripple isnt a true decentralized currency.

a lot of critics for ripple as i can see. Like all altcoins Ripple suffered a massive drop and never really manage to bounce back above the 1 dollar mark after the Korean craze last year. But aside from that this is still a promising currency that i believed will surprise us all this year. A lot of banks are considering it making it popular and valuable.

Ripple is ripple. Have gained great followers and investors. It will still rise up again and again. It may not seem quite profitable at the moment, but once traders push this coin up, It will return to $3 and even more.
