Some call it FUD, others call it common sense.

Regardless of what you call it, the timing just seems weird to me. Wait until the coin hits the exchange, then spread your 'common sense'... probably more effective then (assuming 'common sense' works at all). In reality, it's the whales that move the markets, so it's probably just idiots spouting fud or hype for no real reason.

When do you expect LISK to be tradable? How does LISK compare to NEM/XEM? Is there any LISK wallet?

LISK won't be tradable until after march. Compared to NEX/XEM, I see it as an alternative to Ethereum. I also have an invested stake in LISK. I am not biased.  I wouldn't recommend LISK wallet until the official version is released after LISK is distributed. I am eagerly waiting this adventure. Smiley

Will probably see a good roi in the short term but I don't really believe that Lisk has good chances to survive long term. It's just trying to ride the ETH train, it's very similar
to ETH and offers very little anything new.

I don't believe anything we have in crypto right now will survive long term (well, except for BTC), because we are not there yet. The Ideas lisk and ETH are working on are interesting, but if they will eventually suceed(the ideas, that is), it will be with some other project that doesn't exist yet.

However, in my limited observations, the worth of a coin is not only linked to real-life sucess, but also to theoretical sucess, i.e. whether an implemented technology is interesting to look at, but not really used (e.g. most of the privacy-focused currencies. I mean, how much of them is actually used to buy something?). This is not long-term sustainable, but short-term, it is a factor to keep in mind.

Lol, you sound like a disappointed. Why are you so upset? The ICO has already raised 4446 bitcoins so far. I believe it will be successful. I wouldn't be surprised if it was more successful than Ethereum. Maybe you should get educated a little bit, you sound completely stupid. No, I am not paid shill.

It is very similar but a important difference I think is that you can make the Dapps with Javascript.
And that is the programming language that is most used, so a lot more people can make Dapps for Lisk.

And I think Lisk can definitely survive long term, maybe  they can even cooperate together later on.

There is a guide with instructions step-by-step that will help you through the ICO process (look at the first page at the original thread). When you successfully finish the process, you'll have some keys that will unlock your LISK account.

ETH "Gas" is an ongoing fee paid to miners to run somebody else's dapp.   Lisk dapp owners run their own sidechain for free using cheap microcomputers like $35 Raspberry Pi of $5 / month vultr.com servers - no ongoing fee to the Lisk Foundation outside of a minor initial registration fee.  The Lisk coins are used as a medium of exchange any way a dapp owner wants to use them inside a sidechain dapp.

I am eager to start to write a LISK dapp today allready. Were is the documentation, instructions, API to write LISK-dapps?

Can I participate in LISK-development and/or testing?

I think this question is very important and relevant.

This question is a good one to ask at the main thread where Max will see it and answer it.

What's the current Lisk price per USD?  How many Lisk per BTC?

From what I understand here is how it works.

The LIST price ticker is below

http://www.liskprice.tk/

Your total LISK is a result of how MUCH LISK is sold. Again from what I understand. So I put in 1 BTC (10% bonus rate later I think comes to play).

Also NOTE: The PRICE of LISK on that ticker is RISING due to the fact folk are buying in WITHOUT the opportunity to sell it yet. Thus it will always rise till Sell-able. Then who knows?

This is important the 2 points above to keep in mind when looking at the calculator and you relationship to any $$$$ in this LISK ICO.

So AT THE TIME I got the 1 BTC xfered to LISK that came out to be 27,060 LISK.   (ie 1 BTC = 27,060 LISK at that time) (the 10% bonus timeline which kicks me it later)

Now using the above calculator my 1 BTC ASSUMING  27,060 (It may be lots lower no way to tell) my 1 BTC is worth (without the 10% bonus) at the above LISK calculator setting

of 0.03664 is now $991.48 usd vs the approximately $415 usd or so I paid for such. With the supposed later addition of the 10% Bonus. That is now $1,098.33.

Pretty heady stuff. BUT IT IS ALL JUST PAPER DREAMS AT THIS POINT IN THAT MONEY IS STILL FLOWING IN BUT CAN'T YET FLOW OUT!!!!

Anyway be warned my motives for investing in LISK was a buddy is in 15 BTC so for support I jumped in with a big 1 BTC.

The truth is it either WORKS (ie imho above $1 a LISK) or it does not work at all.....worthless....

So I hope all you guys with 10 BTC in etc etc are correct on the $10 buck a LISK future...if so at say 250,000 usd  of LISK I would not even complain much on my 1 BTC.

But the odds are high and there is NOTHING to say that Ethereum or Bitcoin with lighting is it etc could not ALSO incorporate a DAPP feature with JavaScript.

It all depends imho on if LISK gets something out of the gate with JavaScript that is useful as hell quick as they plan with their ICO/process and tools.

Anyway the main thing is I'm not talking my buddy of a ledge here in 1/2 year if it all goes GAW/Paycoin poof! ONLY put in what you can afford to lose.

Its 'Crypto Vegas' on this kinda think more then likely the money is GONE. So be prudent and be prepared. This is a long shot by any stretch.

anyway my 2 LISK worth of advice Smiley
