Hello, first, THANK YOU for the cheap coins!

Litecoin is a boring coin? why? because it's stable like a rock? because it's not a pump and dump PRE-MINED scam coin like bublEthereum Huh

If you want "action" (action => pump and dump pre-mined scam coins like ethereum to make quick money) good luck, you are in the correct place (in ethereum)

Now, Stop talking sh*t, please!

I'm sorry man. Cry but your anger needs to be pointed at the ASIC companies and corrupt exchanges; LTC could be a lot bigger if it wasn't for them. Ethereum is designed to work in tandem with BTC and LTC. I'm surprised they took the IPO route but hey, why can't it be used for good? Do the scammers have a monopoly on IPOs?

I have seen a few BTC die hards now suggesting BTC becomes a store of wealth. Whilst they use.....LTC and DOGE for currency for the meanwhile Smiley

Same when shit went down at cryptsy. First coins everyone headed for were LTC and DOGE.

They work fine as currencies right now and are running at like 1% so plenty of room to expand.

The thing with these btc 2.0 coins perhaps they introduce many great features but many great problems further down the line.

Let's wait and see. Keep a hand in with all of them and you won't go wrong.

Litecoin may indeed be dead, but I am holding on to the few hundred I have left for one final pump. I am hoping if BTC catches a rise due to the halving, that LTC will follow it up some. If it gets anywhere near $10 again I think I will be cashing out the rest too, as I think a lot of other people are thinking the same thing. It is hard to keep the faith after years of stagnate movement.

But how is it dead?

It does what it was created to do? Now it's merged with DOGE it is a very secure coin.
Although the asics have centralised the mining.

The extra things 2.0 coins are using the blockchain for are a double edged sword. Even Etherium - nobody is sure it is going to scale with mass adoption. We will have to wait and see.

OP is already underwater on ETH while the LTC price in terms of BTC is sitting on the low-low. Ain't hard to see where the upside is on these trades atm. On one hand, I feel bad for the newcomers that are gonna be slaughtered on ETH as this bubble deflates. OTOH, caveat emptor and take your profits when you get them in these altcoins and add to your BTC stash.

Just to correct you on one point, doge had to merge with litecoin in order to survive, Charles lee's initial attempts to help Dogecoin were met with the online equivalent of a spit in the face for his troubles. The Dogecoin community finally realised Charles lee was correct, so the bitter pill could be digested by the Dogecoin community it was re-packaged as something like suchmuchpowwow and twisted completely around as Dogecoin was helping litecoin.

I dont think so that litecoin or LTC is dead as it has already establish its name already. Though the price almost is stagnant, but from time to time there are someone trading it,meaning not completely dead.We will also wait the effects of btc halving..

I agree with you. I did read that before. However I'm just saying those two merged together are quite secure in comparison to a lot of other coins. If BTC was having a huge issue people would vacate to USD doge or ltc.... perhaps some now to ethereum too. Although if i was one of the first to jump at this point it would be into ltc or doge. Then etherium.

It was a nice ride, but I've lost all hope. What a boring crypto.

it saddens me but i have to agree with this.
i also find litecoin so boring with nothing to offer. there has been no change whatsoever and no forward movement.
litecoin is just staying where it was, a copy of bitcoin that not even developers care about.

what makes a crypto is not how advanced it is but how easy it is for the average person to use. If you can use bitcoin then you can use litecoin, i think litecoins simplicity is going to work in its favour in the long term. One only has to take a look at nxt to see this in action, nice shiny tech but no real world use.

Just bookmarked this thread to come back to if litecoin ever moons again. If litecoin ever hits prices of $100+ people will say "remember that guy who sold 10,000 litecoins". This could be the future "pizza thread" of litecoin lol.

It's always good to keep a few hundred, considering bitcoin's halving is coming around in July, it might make LTC go moon.

I put everything into Ethereum and bought another $7,500 worth of it, also planning on changing my other altcoins (approx worth $184 combined) and my last 8 BTC to Ethereum.

You are smarter than i gave you credit for.  It takes a certain strength of mind to change ones mind.

Welcome to ethereum.
Agree, welcome to the future of crypto.

Bitcoin and Litecoin, ever!

If bitcoin skyrockets, litecoin will follow double, triple, quadruple in the gains/profits

To me there are only 2 cryptos, Bitcoin and Litecoin, the rest are the rest...

Why not Litecoin?

Lol. You were criticizing Ethereum shills and Poloniex as usual, and less than two hours later you tell everyone you've ditched 10,000 Litecoins for ETH. And after reading way too many of your deranged, hysterical comments from the last two years, I strongly suspect you're only a troll.
Litecoin will surpass $48. Mark my words.

Litecoin is useless coin. It will be sub $2 before eyar's end. It will never be even $10 again, let alone $48.
If that somehow magivcally happens, i will give away $1000 to people who posted in this topic in favour of LTC, but I am only making this ''offer'' / statement because I am 10000% sure it will NEVER happen. The $1000 could as well be $1 trillion Smiley

LTC -->poopcoin.

I'm in for a free $trillion.. it will make $10 again. It may never retake position 2.

When exchanges go rocky people run for doge and ltc.  Ethereum is good. I think you made an okay move. I would have gone 50/50 though just in case.

Mass adoption eth going to be pretty hard when 98% of 'holder" have zero clue about it from a technical standpoint.  It's not user friendly and like many have said the public can barely understand bitcoin...This bubble will decimate so many people it's actually very scary.

The price of Ethereum is till above 0.02. I think it is not slaughtered. It is in the consolidation stage. It might rise further.
