Its is bad to do of course. And people are getting easily addicted to it and that is the problem. They must realize that it is all wasted money.
And I hope that more people will stop gambling and just play a little sometimes. Dont play to much or you will get poor.

Can't agree with you completely on gambling being a sickness. The much more appropriate line would be, not knowing when to quit gambling is sickness. Many tend to get addicted to gambling and win or lose, they keep on playing again since they always think taking a 50-50 risk is the right thing to do and that's when you could consider it a sickness to those who don't know the limit.

Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

Gambling is in no way sickness. Just because some people can't control themselves and go yolo does not mean that people who do it from time to time should be considered sick. The problem lies in the individual not the system (tho i admit gambling is a scummy business but hey, that's life). You should have at least added a few points on why you believe it to be a sickness instead of stating the obvious, when you gamble you should accept the fact that you will most likely loose.

how would you feel if your hobby is referred to as a disease ?? I think it's very painful. although I think one, gambling is a game that can eliminate boredom can also be a person and a person hopes to raise money to gamble, I guess it is not a disease, but a habit

I believe so that gambling is not a sickness, people may say so maybe its because they cannot control their self. Gambling is just a game of fun this is how I define it. Gambling is both sickness and habit,. Many people get the buzz of winning and sometimes winning big and forever always chasing that next hit on a big high win. Often not will lose and worse do not know where to stop and end up gambling away hard earned money and get into massive problems. I have fun and enjoy gambling as much as many other people do. But I know where to stop and get out. People who gamble and continue to gamble and don't stop is a habit and in someway could call it a sickness as to mental health problems you can not control some of them.

i agree.
you can't look at everybody with the same eye. for example i have been playing different games at casinos and mostly dice but i don't consider myself to be an addict. i only play for fun and i play sometimes not all the time and i restrict the amount i gamble so i won't lose much so i quit each time i reach my limit.

Gambling itself or the act of gambling isn't necessarily a sickness. Addiction to gambling, sure. Addiction to anything, whether it be gambling, porn, drugs/alcohol, food, is indeed a problem for many people.

What you said is perfect , addiction is the main thing of sickness, what ever you are doing do in limit then you wont be in problem, their are so many thread and reply in regards that play gambling in limit or you will get addicted and then it will become sickness. As the gambler losses all his bets and his bankroll goes bankrupt then automatically he will become sick. Telling advice is easy but following the advice is hard.

If you can control or able to bear the loss then only you should come to gambling if not be happy with what you have.

Some gambling sites are responsible and regulated and have to adhere to certain prescribed rules to identify possible candidates that may be addicted and offer them some help. I still think these gambling operations can do more to help prevent addiction. They could implement counter measures, for example time limits or online counseling in private chat channels or they could simply put hard limits on their sites for players. Instead, they offer VIP clubs with special rewards/prizes for whale gamblers. ^Evil^

Gambling is not like to be disease. It something special for the gambler. When we win first in the gamble, we wish to win all the time. Gamble, i think, is addictive. Many people love gambling. I have read many threads about gambling VS trading VS other thing!

Exactly this, gamble is a way to get profit as long as you can manage a bankroll, exit timing and a little bit luck.
And yeah when you are in bad or maybe lost you should know to handle to make it wouldn't become a sickness.
