Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!!

Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

in my opinion gambling is not a sickness but it is a our greediness of getting more and more profit in ln seconds .since every profit making things is addicted for everyone but gambling is one of the sickness of gmbler while he loss everything but never leave gambling .

Constantly having the urge to do something is not a normal thing. There's no way that you would be able to control your urge but you can control if you're going to follow your urge or not. You don't get it. A virus can be researched by a scientist or doctor to find a cure in terms of science, while an addiction can be cure by counseling or friends or even a psychometrician if you like. Do you think that Zika Virus or H1N1 becured with trekking, reading books, and socializing? Of course not, not even a percent of chance. Gambling can't be cured by a vaccine obviously.

I don't think so, because for me it is always depend of a player. If that gambler cannot handle the situation then he can really get addicted in gambling which is bad and it can also have a possibility that he can really have emotional problem too, because of getting addicted sometimes they can sell their belongings so that they can gamble.

I don't think so, because for me it is always depend of a player. I really do agree that there is something wrong with a gambler if they are doing it excessively, probably they are really having a problem... I will want to disagree that it should be called sickness because in the case of sickness you dont determine whether you want it or but not same for gambling because at a period of time one decided I want to make extra money or coins by take some risk then it continues like that up to a point of no return then could now be said its sickness leaving the beginning out of the scenario. i think it is not a sickness , it is attraction of bitcoin to earn without hardwork . when we win the bet then we think that no one can fail our idea but when we loss then everything comes opposite to our condition so i think it is only addiction of earning bitcoin .

Not only on bitcoin but  also on  fiat which you could   think that   youwould really make  money  on doing  gambling,  it really does   but only on the beggining but when you do it for  long runs for sure you would  lose your money and  gambling is designed that way. Sickness would  be considered  when you are already got addicted to it.

yes there is sickness here but that is not gambling itself but the addiction to gambling. there are a lot of people who are gambling responsibly for fun and recreation and you can't say that they are sick since they're not addicted to gambling. this also applies to pretty much any addiction, not only to gambling

yes there is sickness here but that is not gambling itself but the addiction to gambling. there are a lot of people who are gambling responsibly for fun and recreation and you can't say that they are sick since they're not addicted to gambling. this also applies to pretty much any addiction, not only to gambling

for some people it is a sickness and they actually should be prevented from gambling, which means you should stop them even if it means fighting with them because it is helping them.

but for some others it is not at all, becasue not everybody is an addict and many of the players around here are playing for fun of gambling only.

Gambling or to be precise addiction to gambling in most cases is caused by other problems in life such as depression, people who live active and interesting lives rarely get addicted to gambling or drugs, unlike depressed people who search for anything that can help them feel better at least for short time.

Personally I don’t think this is accurate, while suffering depression or some kind of disease will raise the odds of a person of trying stuff and eventually becoming addicted to it, there are many persons with incredible lives that fall prey of addiction.

But gambling must be a mind game. Because gambling affects its users in psychological way. When a gambler gets addictions, he will completely lose control over his emotions. Yes it can be considered as sickness but it can be cured also like just save your money in cold wallet? and forget to touch that wallet for a month and then withdraw to your local bank when you need it?
And yes, I agrees with OP that we win in first but when we get greedy we get aggressive we lost all. Like happened with me i won a few bitcoins then i get greedy i just lost that all bitcoins in 15 seconds. Better stay away from gambling.
