Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.
1. You can lose from the very start. Happened to me many times. 2. No one wins from gambling in the long run(proved many times) 3. Everything can be considered as a sickness: eating, watching TV series, playing games, etc. What I'm saying is gambling is an ordinary thing: we are gambling with death every minute. I agree with you regarding 1,2,3 points, but I didn't understand your last sentence. How is that we are gambling with death every minute, do you mean we can die any moment, cause if thats what you mean, then I agree with that too. Gambling yes can be from an ordinary activity up to sickness depending how addicted to it you are. That's a very detailed list of yours, I agree with what you are posting, in short gambling is only a waste of time for those who play for sole profit because we cannot win in gambling in the long run and might ruin our life due to addiction. What type of gambling are you referring to? It's absolutely possible to win money gambling on poker and sports betting. it depends on the person when you are talking about the games which are based on skills . for example sports betting or poker if the person don't know anything about them and are just betting on luck or tips they get they can't win money over time. |

This is absolutely not true if you're referring to sports betting and poker. In sports betting you can win everyday there if you know the team that you are betting you have to have also the knowledge for it. But in the long run for sure, no one wins. Sometime win, but most of the time you will just lose. |

Sometime win, but most of the time you will just lose. If your not a sport fanatic and don't know to analyse which team/player will likely to win, you'll end up loosing. Well, even you lose. In the long run you will probably know what team/player has chances to win, it will add up to your experience. All gambling games need luck even how good the team/player is, so you can't win everyday. |

Blaming gambling because if the fact that people are addicted to it is not going to help anyone. Gamble is going to stay legal so that is something that cannot be changed. You can only change the people that are addicted to it and that is where the problem is.

That's for sure and I'm calling it as a syndrome since it is hard to remove and it can be classify like that. And take note, sickness does make our immune system very weak it's just like that, in the family if their is an addicted gambler, it makes weak the relationship of one's family and it even breaks their relationship. |

There's no problem with the people. It's the problem with human nature, especially males. Males are more risk-taking and thrill seeking. And thats what gambling purely is. A thrill of risking your money for more money. And that's where the most problematic thing lies. Greed. Greed is basic part of human psychology. The more you have, the happier you are. That's the main reason why gambling is so addictive. People like making money so much until they forget that gambling is supposed to simply be fun. |

Yeah I think so too. Gambling should definitely be considered as a sickness and as a disease. It is contagious, as if your friends gamble, you are probably gambling too with your own money. Gambling is never profitable for your sake in the long run. So anyone attempting to make a fortune out of gambling, my suggestion is: do something more worthwhile with your coins instead. |

Addicted to gambling doesn't means a sickness , as long as we keep on the track to not gamble more than we can afford to lose, it is a normal thing to get addicted to gamble. For those people who gamble everything they had or even gamble something they can afford incase they lost i guess it is a real sickness. |

I think it's not considered as sickness, only those person addicted in gambling should have a sickness. Gambling is a habit and it abuse it could lead to a bad situation, depends on a person how to manage himself in gambling, beside before we are accepted in gambling we are ask if we are over 18 years old so we are in the proper age to make a good decision. |

I think all gambling games need luck dude including sports betting or poker. both game still need luck and of course have the risk to lose? so if you are at risk for losing. The method is not suitable to serve as a long-term gain #imo people who do most of the long-term gambling losses. it is often seen I disagree. People who bet in sports betting relied on the skill of the person they bet in. People who play in pokers has skill that they trust that's why they play in, although it has a little bit of luck, but most of the time they don't rely to luck. They rely it in outsmarting their opponent. |
