There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Why is everybody in such a rush to get their waves onto an exchange? You cant have that much faith in the coin if your all so eager to dump it straight off the mark. i Dont hold very many but i will be holding onto them instead of making a mad rush to dump them.

many pp eager to know the exact time so they can dump F&F[first&fast] and buyback at lower price for easy profit.  Grin

Does anybody know at what time Waves team will sent full node wallet code to the exchanges?

June 14

The quote a few posts above answers all exchange questions.
I don't ask at what day I perfectly know the date, I ask at what time there is a big difference

Yeah for sure. I understand. I also need to know what time. I work and am looking forward to watching what happens when it hits the market.

The line I was pointing you to was this one:

"Furthermore, the exchanges themselves will be announcing the WAVES market inclusion, it does not correspond to us doing so, therefore continuosly asking in Bitcointalk or Slack will not make the process any faster."

Poloniex shared this notice a few hours ago:
"At 5:00 AM UTC (in about 4 hours), we will be performing some back-end maintenance. No downtime is expected."
This could be a positive sign that they are testing the full node right now.

A lot of people just want to see BTC profit. They do their DD and try to find the few winners.
I can't judge them as they are helping to fund the project. The "problem" is that if they sell all their coins for the quick profit, they will miss that Ethereum like rise later on.

Personally I like taking part in the experiments and seeing what they amount to (and then deciding later if and when to take out some BTC.)

BTC = Black Swan.
BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.

I'm perfectly content to wait another day or two for trading to begin if necessary. I understand why some people feel such urgency for immediate action, but I'm in for the long haul and can be as patient as needs be.

Same here mate, I'm not in a hurry with transferring my Waves to the exchange. I'll hold into it for long term since I believe in it.

No you don't

The full node code has already been sent to exchanges.
That was a few posts above.
What I am saying is: "It is pointless to ask about anything here, when trading will be ready the exchanges will let us know"
again:
"The code has already been sent out"
If you want to see it check github

Everyone just needs to crack a cold beer and relax.  Good things take time, the WAVES devs have been delivering and I expect it to continue.  Received my WAVES today, locked and loaded for HODL!  Smiley

Keeping at least a part of ones Waves is probably a smart strategy for the longer run. Of course, everyone needs to buy&sell as they are comfortable with their holdings. Some are calculating on selling to buy back later, others might be hoping to cash out for BTC, hope for a continued rise in BTC and ride the alt bubbles before cashing out altogether.

Personally I am holding long term as a 1-2x profit today has the potential of being magnitudes larger in the times to come. But what do I know, I'm just a $random_doood on the interwebs talking about imaginary internet monies Smiley

Working with several exchanges, there's a little integration to be done, so it'll take a couple days.

I apologize, my bad. Next time I'll double check the extremely tiny timestamp on the poloniex notice box.  Cheesy

I myself is dumping half of my coins from any ICO with hope of buying back when the price goes down. Any ICO coins out there always start high, so any seller at the early days  when the coins reach the exchanges can always buy back at a lower price.

so, there's no hope that wave will reach exchanges today eh?

I think you have the same strategy as many others, sell enough WAVES right away to cover initial investment, then hold the rest for the future.  I fear we will see alot of dumping right away from people trying to execute this strategy.
