There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Fuck the bounties. I hope they never are paid out! 9/10 of this thread is bounties bounties bounties.. Fuck your 75 wave bounty seriously!

Just cancel the whole fucking bounty thing and tell people who didnt invest in ICO other than bounty\facebook\twitter\signature etc etc can go fuck themself!

Dev has to focus 100% on getting coin up and working now and not spend even a second on shitty 13 year old kids who didnt even invest in the ICO but suddenly feel they are the most entitled and important persons for Waves Network just because they copypasted some shit under their profile /rage off

Buy high and sell low

Sad news!
n

There is nothing sad. How much coins before been launched that devs just didnt care how it will be, hurrying for lainch and threw their coins half done to exchange. Its a pleasure to see professional Team wich are serious people, trying to test everything before launch, make hard work for their project and launch only when they are 100% sure that everything what need to be done is done and make a smooth beauteaful launch with everything working smoothly. It means a lot and means that devs care and respect community and investors. Very professional work. Been involved in crypto for 3 years and I know what im talking about. Im more sure than ever before, this gonna be big success

Cheers.
yeah, no hurry to hit exchange.

yeah, no hurry to hit exchange.

Unless there was an undisclosed problem, the bigger issue is Why not just plan this from the start? Why not give the exchanges a 2 day node set-up time?
I'm not selling mine this year, but I can see how this is a bit sloppy.
Patience is fine, but call a spade a spade.

At least they will start spamming the same stupid questions on the RISE thread in a few weeks 😂 Hopefully then this thread wont be 90% questions that they can find the answer to with very little research.

Will there be a standalone Windows Wallet or just the Chrome Wallet ?
Will there be a Firefox Wallet?
Can we just wait and send our WAVES to an exchange right from the ico.wavesplatform.com page once the coin is on an exchange ?[/li][/list]

Well maybe. Sasha just wrote on Slack that users have pretty crappy seeds that they have assigned themselves. A half decent script-kiddie could just run a dictionary attack and scoop up a bunch of free waves, as the users apparently don't understand what they are doing. Imagine what this thread will look like when many users find out that all their invested ICO Wave tokens are gone with the wind because of having something like "mary had a little lamb" or their ico deposit address as their seed.

You may keep your coins in the ICO wallet, that is completely fine.
Right now the Chrome Extension works the best but there are other alternatives if you run the local html-files on your secure home laptop/PC.

You can download the standalone version here: https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/archive/v0.3.0.MAIN.zip It is just a bunch of HTML and JavaScript files. Some people are using it with Firefox and it works.

I created a new WAVES account using the chrome lite client, added the Waves address to my ICO account, saved it, approved it (via email), but my stack is not shown in the lite wallet.

Yes I am only interested in the developments at this state. Even though I received a few bounties, I put my btc where my mouth is and purchased my WAVES..So we need some seriousness in this thread now, not just the dumpers and freeloaders continuously spamming the thread. Come on guys give the Devs a chance to get their work done, what are you doing for the COIN?

      Sad news!

      This is Good news!

Big exchanges would like to secure new tech.

The anticipation is half the fun.  I'd rather get delayed and get it RIGHT, than have a failed exchange launch.

Why you think that it could be failed exchange launch?

Who knows man, but after being in crypto a long time, its not that shocking.  This is still a new industry, bugs need to get worked out, things go wrong, its just the way it goes.  I have complete faith in the WAVES team.

The devs are paying out all Waves on a manual basis, so please be patient and sit tight. They are working hard to get all Waves out through the door although many users are upset that the payouts are taking a long time.
